JOINING DEVICE FOR JOINING COMPONENTS ON A SHAFT
A joining device for joining components on a shaft, e.g., for joining camshaft components on a camshaft tube, is disclosed. The joining device includes a joining device body composed of a material with a heat expansion coefficient that is lower than 10.0 μm/m° C. The heat expansion coefficient of the joining device is smaller than that of the components and/or the shaft.
Method for manufacturing combined hollow camshaft by axial-compression upsetting-deformation technique
A method for manufacturing a hollow camshaft is provided, and more particularly, a method for manufacturing a combined hollow camshaft by an axial-compression upsetting-deformation technique. The present method solves a problem that the current camshaft manufactured in an internal high-pressure expansion manner in the prior art has the insufficient locking force to cause the loosening of a cam. The method is as follows: a camshaft is formed by combining two independent units, namely a cam and a shaft tube. Non-circular countersinks are distributed on two sides of the cam. Thrust steps are formed on the shaft tube correspondingly. The cam is placed between the two thrust steps of the shaft tube. The locking force is applied to the cam by utilizing the thrust steps on the two sides of the cam based on thermal expansion and contraction. Simultaneously, the thrust steps lock the cam with the countersinks.
Method for producing a channel in a shaft tube
A method for producing a spray channel on a shaft tube, whereby a completed shaft tube can output fluid from within the shaft tube to outside of the shaft tube, the method may include introducing at least one through-opening with a diameter D.sub.1≥1.5 mm into the shaft tube and arranging at least one additional element in or on the at least one through-opening such that the spray channel is at least partly formed by the at least one additional element.
Method for producing a constructed camshaft of an internal combustion engine
A method for producing a constructed camshaft of an internal combustion engine may be used in connection with a camshaft having a cam, a shaft, and an anti-friction bearing. The method may involve machining the cam, machining the shaft to produce a setting region for arranging the cam, heating the cam and the anti-friction bearing, pushing the cam onto the shaft into a preliminary position and pushing the anti-friction bearing onto the shaft into a bearing position, equalizing a temperature between the shaft, the cam, and the anti-friction bearing by cooling at least the cam, and setting the cam onto an end position by way of pushing the cam onto the setting region.
DEVICE FOR POSITIONING AT LEAST ONE SHAFT
A device for positioning a shaft relative to a functional element including at least one hub for the shaft. The device may include a tailstock for axially aligning the shaft with respect to the at least one hub of the functional element. The tailstock may include a radially adjustable centring cone for the shaft. The tailstock may have an outer diameter that is smaller than an inner diameter of the at least one hub.
The locking force is applied to the cam by utilizing the thrust steps on the two sides of the cam based on thermal expansion and contraction. Assembled camshaft and method for producing an assembled camshaft
A camshaft and method of producing a camshaft for an internal combustion engine. The camshaft includes a base shaft and an external toothing extending at least in certain portions axially along the base shaft. The camshaft includes a hub with an internal toothing which correlates with the external toothing of the base shaft such that the hub is connected rotationally conjointly and axially non-displaceably to the base shaft. The external toothing has at least one form-fit subregion that extends axially at least in certain portions along the base shaft, or one force-fit subregion in order for the hub to be arranged at least in a form-fitting or force-fitting manner. At least the form-fit subregion or the force-fit subregion is adjoined by at least one alignment region which extends at least in certain portions axially along the base shaft and which serves for the angular alignment of the hub.
Device for jointing a plurality of elements on a shaft
A method for jointing elements, each having a cutout, on a shaft by a device for producing a control shaft, comprises disposing the elements vertically above one another, aligned, and fixed. The method also comprises pushing the shaft in vertically from above though the cutouts of the elements by a traversable guide carriage of the device and displacing by a pneumatic piston of the device the traversable guide carriage and the shaft attached thereto until a maximum first press-in force is reached. The method further comprises displacing by at least two spindles of an electric spindle drive of the device the traversable guide carriage and the shaft when the maximum first press-in force is exceeded.
Method for joining a functional module, and functional module
A method of joining a functional module comprises the steps of providing a frame structure that defines a bearing channel with at least one circumferentially closed bearing seat; providing at least two attachment parts; providing a hollow shaft that comprises at least one support section for the at least two attachment parts, wherein the attachment parts comprise a mounting seat that is adapted to a support section; feeding the attachment parts in the bearing channel in a first feeding direction; feeding the hollow shaft in the bearing channel in a second feeding direction, wherein the hollow shaft is inserted into the respective mounting seat of the at least two attachment parts; and, subsequent to the feeding of the attachment parts and the hollow shaft in the bearing channel, at least sectionally widening the hollow shaft for a torsionally rigid fixation of the at least two attachment parts with their mounting seats at the respective support section of the hollow shaft.
