Elongated hand tool, with end points, to actuate out of reach device
In most homes and other buildings, on ceiling or wall near ceiling are alarm and detectors. A person can push their button with subject tool. The subject includes distinctly-shaped attachments, of the same plastic, all of four types and joining methods. First type, body of 2.16 cm (0.85) diameter, hollow black plastic piping, proximal looped cap for hanging, and distal inside threading for joining second or third types. Second type, two extensions of same body features, and a proximal connector instead of cap for joining first and second types. Third type, five attachments of two segments, proximal threaded portion for joining first or second types, and purposefully distinctly-shaped portion for different alarm or detector situations. Fourth type, twenty-one other attachments of said segments, the five shapes with either solid, hollow, or screw (fourth joining method) threaded portion for joining either distal hollow or projected part respectively on further-reaching pole.

TOOL FOR HANDLING HANGING BASKET
Disclosed are tools for handling hanging baskets to provide improved ability to handle hanging baskets of different sizes. The tool includes a bowl for holding the hanging basket and a pole or a connector for a pole so that hanging baskets above one's reach can be handled. The bowl preferably includes one or more support components for supporting the weight of the hanging basket. The bowl preferably includes one or more stabilizing component for reducing or minimizing motion of the hanging basket in the bowl (e.g., while raising or lowering the hanging basket). The bowl preferably includes one or more reinforcing components for reinforcing the bowl (e.g., located near a rim of the bowl and/or near a base of the bowl).
Mechanical overstock audit tool and associated methods
Example overstock audit tools and associated methods are described. The example overstock audit tool includes a body defining a distal end and a proximal end, and a cutout formed in the body and extending from the proximal end. The cutout can be configured and dimensioned to be placed against a shelf edge to align the handle portion with the shelf edge. The overstock audit tool includes an elongated portion attached to and extending from the handle portion. An example overstock audit tool can include a roller mechanism configured to slidably secure the handle portion to the shelf edge.
Fire hose grappling assembly
A fire hose grappling assembly for loading fire hose onto a fire truck includes a fire truck that has a hose bed. A fire hose is positionable on the hose bed for storing the fire hose. A grapple is provided and the grapple is gripped by a user for loading the fire hose onto the hose bed. The grapple is laterally extendable across the hose bed to releasably engage the fire hose. Moreover, the grapple is urgeable across the hose bed when the grapple releasably engages the fire hose thereby facilitating the user to urge the fire hose across the hose bed. In this way the user can load the fire hose onto the fire truck without requiring the user to mount the fire truck.

Retrievable dropped reacher device
A reacher device retrievable from a dropped surface including a jaw assembly located at its distal end and a handle assembly located at its proximal end. The handle assembly includes a trigger communicating with the jaw assembly and configured to move the jaws of the jaw assembly from their spaced apart resting mode towards each other. A retrieval pivot member is attached to the handle and includes at least one fulcrum surface configured to contact the dropped surface. The fulcrum surface contacts the dropped surface on both sides of the handle assembly to stabilize the handle assembly against side-to-side movement, and is configured to pivot the distal end of the dropped reacher device upwardly to a position where it can be grasped by a user upon depression of the handle assembly toward the dropped surface.

DISPLAY MOUNTING SYSTEM AND METHOD
A system and method for mounting a display or sign includes an elongated channel having magnets that are affixed to a ceiling grid and mounting hooks or the like to suspend the sign or display from the channel. The channel includes high friction strips on a neck for engagement by a pole end gripper on a pole for mounting the channel on the ceiling while the user stands on the floor. End caps may be mounted on the channel. Mounting plates may be affixed to the ceiling or wall for magnetically engaging the channel. A wall mount channel includes an offset neck for gripping by the pole end gripper. A magnetic clip including a string for suspending a display may be mounted with the pole end gripper. An embodiment of the channel includes hooks for engaging an open girder ceiling, horizontal member, or other structure.
