The device body includes a fist base body and a second base body. The two base body fixing blocks are arranged to press both sides of the base body, respectively. The adjustment mechanism includes a pushing mechanism configured to move the two pressing mechanisms along a direction from the first base body toward the second base body, two compressing mechanisms configured to compress a play between the first base body and the pressing mechanisms and a reset mechanism. Each of the pressing mechanisms includes a roller fixing block connected with the sliding block, and two rollers with a same rolling direction, the two rollers are respectively mounted on both sides of the roller fixing block.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PREPARING MORTISE CUTS WITH A PANTOGRAPH ROUTER
Guide bearing stop for use in a template-guided system for routers, and more particularly to a device, system, and method, for facilitating efficient, easily repeatable, highly accurate router mortise cuts on workpieces using a pantograph-type router system. The guide bearing stop may be used with a readily adjustable template holder for holding a guide bearing stop to direct the mortise cut in a very exact manner, which is also readily adjustable and easily positioned and centered on the template holder. The guide bearing stop when used in conjunction with the router system allows for the rapid centering and rapid reproduction of varying sizes of exactly-sized and exactly-shaped mortise cuts across a variety of different workpieces.

A clamping method includes a step (S3) for applying, by a first support portion disposed on one surface side of a plurality of superposed members and a second support portion disposed on the other surface side of the plurality of members, a predetermined first pressure to the plurality of members, and sandwiching the plurality of members; a step (S4) for forming a through hole with respect to the plurality of members by a cutting tool with the first pressure; a step (S5) for applying a predetermined second pressure to the plurality of members after the through hole is formed, and sandwiching the plurality of members by the first and second support portions, the second pressure being lower than the first pressure; and a step (S6) for fixing a fastening part inserted into the through hole to the plurality of members by a riveting device with the second pressure applied.

Support arrangement for supporting a workpiece
A support arrangement for supporting a workpiece at a processing device during processing of the workpiece. The support arrangement comprises: a fixating means adapted to arrange an abutment surface of the support arrangement in contact with one side of the workpiece when another opposite side of the workpiece abuts one or more fences of the processing device, a locking means adapted to lock the fixating means in a contact position where abutment surface of the support arrangement abuts the one side of the workpiece when another opposite side of the workpiece abuts the one or more fences of the processing device, and a connecting means adapted to connect the support arrangement with the processing device. The support arrangement may be applied e.g. at saw devices for fixating a log to be sawn, in order to achieve a satisfactory result for a sawing process, e.g. planks with a high dimensional accuracy it is important that the workpiece is reliably fixated during the sawing process.

Anti-kickback device
An anti-kickback device is disclosed where the device includes a plurality of flexible members, and at least a compliant contact surface in contact with a moving workpiece, where the flexible members provide a biasing force against the workpiece and also resist or prevent kickback of the workpiece as it engages a tool such as a shaper, saw blade, etc. The configuration of the flexible members assures an opposing force to resist kickback.

When a first columnar work piece as the work piece is supported by the upper support and lower support, the first position determiner is mounted to the post to determine a position by contacting the first work piece.
