Workpiece-alignment Tools and Techniques
Workpiece-alignment tools and techniques are described. Workpiece-alignment tools and techniques are usable to ensure consistent and durable alignment of various workpieces while providing access for performing attachment techniques thereon. In one example, the workpiece-alignment tool includes alignment surfaces that are joined to one another and oriented at corresponding specific angles. The workpiece-alignment tool includes accessibility cutouts and access spaces that provide a user simultaneous access to points around a joint formed by objects aligned with the alignment surfaces. In this way, the workpiece-alignment tool provides accessibility that allows a user to operate upon a workpiece, e.g., as by joining aligned objects together, without interfering or obstructing access to the objects.
Rip Fence Having Micro-Adjustment for a Power Tool
A guide assembly for aligning a workpiece on a table of a saw device includes a guide member having a first end and a second end along the longitudinal axis that is sized to span a dimension of the table. The guide member includes first and second locking mechanisms located at opposite ends of the guide member that are operable to secure the guide member to the table. The guide assembly further includes a fine adjustment mechanism incorporated into the guide member that is operable when the first and second locking mechanisms are locked. The adjustment assembly includes a side plate movably mounted to the guide member between the first and second ends, and a movement mechanism for moving the side plate relative to the guide member in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal axis.
Auxiliary adjusting and abutting device for a material cutting machine
An auxiliary adjusting and abutting apparatus for a machine that cuts a material has a base, a sliding seat, an adjusting assembly, a ruler rod, and a connecting and positioning piece. The sliding seat is slidably fitted on a guiding groove of the base so as to move forwardly and backwardly. The ruler rod is sleeved inside a connecting tube part and a rotary tube of the adjusting assembly. The connecting and positioning piece has a released mode and a locked mode. A locking end of the connecting and positioning piece is locked on the ruler rod in the locked mode. The ruler rod being movable back and forth in the adjusting assembly when in the released mode.
Table Saw
A table saw has a base assembly, a table assembly supported by the base assembly, the table assembly, and a saw assembly supported by at least one of the table assembly and the base assembly. The saw assembly has a saw blade extending through the table assembly. The base assembly has at least one foot having a substantially horizontal surface, a substantially vertical surface, and a curved surface disposed between the substantially horizontal surface and the substantially vertical surface. The substantially vertical surface is substantially coplanar with a surface of the table assembly so that the table saw can be disposed on the substantially vertical surface and the surface of the table assembly.
Locking accessory for woodworking support
Exemplary accessories for use with woodworking supports of woodworking devices may include a first number of locks actuatable by a second number of actuators, the second number being less than the first number. An exemplary actuator is a cam type actuator.
TOOL HOLDER POSITIONING DEVICE AND MACHINE TOOL HAVING THE SAME
A tool holder positioning device configured to be disposed on a machine head device of a machine tool and for installation of a tool holder device includes a first adapting member to be disposed on one of the machine tool and the tool holder device, and a second adapting member to be disposed on the other one of the machine tool and the tool holder device. The first adapting member includes a protruding positioning portion having a plurality of angularly spaced-apart first abutment areas each of which has a first arcuate abutment surface. The second adapting member includes a recessed positioning portion having a plurality of angularly spaced-apart second abutment areas corresponding in number to the first abutment areas and each of which has a second arcuate abutment surface abutting against the first arcuate abutment surface when the tool holder positioning device is in an engaged state.
UFS 2011/1911 ROUTER JIG
An assembly of a router secured to a router base plate and an assembly of jig side plates between which is a work piece such as a frame piece of a pistol firearm. The former assembly is atop the later assembly. The router base plate has a boss inside of which a router guide bushing is rotatable. A guide rail attaches or fastens to the router base plate and aligns the router guide bushing to a locating edge of the one of the jig side plates to create a stable, supporting platform for the handheld router to stay mounted to the router base plate and that guides movement of the handheld router across the one of the jig side plates smoothly as the handheld router cuts rails of the work piece between the pair of jig side plates.
Woodworking device accessories
Exemplary accessories for use with woodworking supports of woodworking devices may include a fence for a drill press. The fence may include a plurality of magnetic couplers, a base, and a stop block. An exemplary stop block may include a bearing.
SAW GUIDE SUPPORT
In accordance with various embodiments of the present disclosure, a saw guide support is provided. In some embodiments, the saw guide support comprises a base plate adapted to be selectively attached to a work platform, a riser vertically slidably coupled to the base plate, a pivot plate hingedly coupled to the riser such that an angle between the riser and the pivot plate is selectively adjustable, and a rotatable plate selectively rotatably coupled to the pivot plate and adapted to selectively receive a saw guide attached thereto. When the saw guide is selectively attached to the rotatable plate, the saw guide support is adapted to enable the saw guide to be pivoted and rotated relative to the work platform.
Workpiece tools and techniques
Workpiece tools and techniques are described. In one example, a workpiece tool includes different side panels that provide surfaces for workpiece alignment. Further, a workpiece tool includes apertures that can align with a work surface such as a welding table. An adjustable tool is also described that includes a tool body and a slidable member that is slidable relative to the tool body. The slidable member, for instance, represents a measurement tool that can be used to measure object dimensions. Further, the tool body includes different side panels that are arranged to enable a variety of different usage scenarios such as include different positions of the slidable member relative to an adjacent object and/or surface.
