Shim Manufacturing Methods and Devices
A method of manufacturing a shim and related systems and equipment. A mechanical tool inserted into a shim space defined between two or more components with the mechanical tool in a first configuration. The mechanical tool is free of measurement electronics. The mechanical tool, while in the shim space, is modified such that the mechanical tool assumes a second configuration to establish a plurality of model points corresponding to a boundary surface of the shim space. The mechanical tool is removed from the shim space while maintaining the mechanical tool in the second configuration. Using a measurement station distinct from the tool, the positions of the model points are electronically measured while the mechanical tool is both disposed outside of the shim space and in the second configuration. Machining instructions are generated based on the measured positions. A shim is fabricated based on the generated machining instructions.

Key cutting machine and a fixture for key cutting machine
The invention discloses a fixture for a key cutting machine, comprising a base, a clamping mechanism and a rotating assembly, wherein the clamping mechanism comprises a first clamping block, a second clamping block, a central shaft and an adjusting piece, wherein one end of the central shaft is connected to the base and sequentially passes through the first clamping block and the second clamping block, wherein the adjusting piece is disposed at the other end of the central shaft for adjusting the distance between the first clamping block and the second clamping block in order to hold the key, wherein the rotating assembly is disposed between the first clamping block and the base, the first clamping block is rotationally connected to the base. Providing that the volume and the size of the key cutting machine fixture do not change, one can freely switch between different clamping surfaces using only a small directional force, which makes for flexible operation, no dead spots and strong applicability.
Tool for adjusting pressing heads of auxiliary welding machine and method for operating the same
A tool configured for adjusting a plurality of pressing heads of an auxiliary welding machine and a method for operating the same are disclosed. The tool includes: a support; a limiting mechanism disposed on the support, wherein the limiting mechanism has a limiting groove for receiving a top end of at least one of the plurality of pressing head. It is possible to adjust the plurality of pressing heads of the auxiliary welding machine more conveniently and accurately using the above tool.

Fixing device, wire eroding machine or laser system, and wire eroding or lasing method
A fixing device (1) for fixing workpieces, to fix substantially rod-shaped workpieces and workpieces to be machined by wire erosion or lasing, including a support apparatus (20) with a plurality of shaped elements (21) for accommodating and supporting a plurality of workpieces in the correspondingly formed shaped elements (21), and for positioning and fixing the workpieces in at least one translatory degree of freedom (22) in the shaped elements (21), wherein the fixing device (1) has a clamping apparatus (50) by means of which pressure force (52) can be applied to a plurality of workpieces accommodated in the shaped elements (21) so that the workpieces are fixed in the clamping apparatus (50) at least in a friction lock due to the applied pressure force, and wherein the support apparatus (20) as shaped elements (21) includes a plurality of passages (30) through which the workpieces can be guided.
Rotary base for securing tools to a work table
Rotary base for securing tools to a work table with a cylindrical support base and truncated upper end, in whose interior and concentric thereto, there is a threaded lower cover and a cylindrical base piston and with a truncated upper end with means to secure tools. The base piston is arranged on the threaded lower cover and is vertically displaced on this threaded lower cover through the interior of the support base, actuated by a lifting system between a lower unlocking position in which the base piston rotates freely around its axis with respect to the support base and an upper locking position in which the rotation of the base piston with respect to the support base is locked by means of friction of its truncated upper end against the truncated upper end of the support base.
