CONVEYING DEVICE
A conveying device includes a workpiece pressing member and a switching member. The workpiece pressing member is able to move along a conveyance path when a mobile body moves, and also moves a workpiece downstream of the conveyance path by moving downstream of the conveyance path while pressing the workpiece. The switching member is able to move along the conveyance path as the mobile body moves, and switches between an engaged state and a non-engaged state with the workpiece pressing member depending on whether the movement is in downstream and upstream directions. When the switching member moves downstream, the workpiece pressing member is able to press the workpiece, and, when the switching member moves upstream, the workpiece pressing member is able to avoid coming into contact with the workpiece.
Manufacturing system
A manufacturing system including a base and multiple work machine modules that are arranged in an arrangement direction on base to be attachable to and detachable from base, in which one wheel of a pair provided on work machine module is engaged with one rail of a pair provided on base in a state in which positional deviation in the arrangement direction is prohibited, and the other wheel of the pair is engaged with the other rail of the pair in a state in which positional deviation is permitted in the arrangement direction, thereby the position of work machine modules on the base in the arrangement direction is specified, and work machine modules are fixed at a setting position on the base to be restricted so as to be drawn toward the base by a module fixing mechanism that is provided on the base.
Feeding device with spring-loaded feeding rollers
A feeding device includes a plurality of driving modules, a plurality of feeding modules and a plurality of couplers. Each driving module has a driving shaft pivotally mounted on a housing and driven by a power module to be rotated about an axis. Each feeding module includes a pivoting shaft substantially coaxial with the driving shaft, a suspending unit journalled on the pivoting shaft to be pivotable and having a bearing portion which is disposed to be biased downwardly by a spring member, a driven shaft mounted rotatably on the bearing portion, and a feeding roller driven by the driven shaft. Each coupler includes a transmitting shaft having two ends connected to the driving shaft and driven shaft by universal joints, respectively.
Feeding machine
A feeding machine includes: a machine shell having a supporting end and a driving end that is opposite to the supporting end; a feeding unit connected to the machine shell and including a plurality of feeding wheels spaced apart from one another; and a driving unit including a motor that extends into the machine shell and that has an output shaft, and a speed reducing member that is disposed between the motor and the feeding unit and that has a worm and a worm wheel orthogonal to the worm. The worm is disposed in the machine shell and on the output shaft of the motor. The worm wheel is disposed under the worm.
Method and device for machining large sized plates in a numerical control workstation
A method and device useful for material removal from large plate-shaped materials, for example machining and polishing of glass and stone. The invention includes a workstation having arrays of roller and suction cups which are selectively used to transport and secure a plate positioned in the workstation. An imaging device collects data on a true position of the plate in the workstation and compares the real position to a design or ideal position to determine a difference of position. An electronic control system calculates the difference and modifies the processing program to adjust for the difference eliminating the need to further reposition the plate to the ideal design position for processing.
Method of processing profiles in a profile processing assembly and a profile infeed assembly for transporting profiles towards a working machine
A method of processing profiles in a profile processing assembly includes a working machine and a profile infeed assembly. The profile infeed assembly includes an infeed cross transport assembly, and an infeed conveyor assembly with an infeed conveyor and a measuring truck. The infeed conveyor has a first end remote from the working machine. The infeed cross transport assembly supplies individual profiles to the infeed conveyor assembly. The infeed conveyor assembly supplies individual profiles to the working machine by means of a measuring truck which engages a profile and moves the profile over the infeed conveyor to the working machine. The method includes determining the longitudinal position of a first end of a profile that is facing away from the working machine and moving the measuring truck to an optimal rest position which is closest to the first end of the profile to be fed onto the infeed conveyor.

Manufacturing cell comprising a tool carrier
A manufacturing cell comprises a machine tool that has a tool carrier carrying a tool unit and has two adjacent workpiece paths oriented in a longitudinal direction. The tool unit can be displaced relative to a machine bed of the machine tool in a transverse direction and in a vertical direction. At least one workpiece carriage per workpiece path can be displaced in the longitudinal direction along the machine tool. The tool unit can be displaced in the longitudinal direction relative to the machine bed and/or relative to the workpiece carriages. The tool carrier overhangs or projects beyond the workpiece paths. The individual workpiece carriage can also be displaced in the longitudinal direction along the workpiece supply. Furthermore, the workpiece supply has at least one lowerable or tiltable stop device per workpiece path.

Workpiece carriage, and machine tool and manufacturing cell having such a workpiece carriage
A workpiece carriage for workpiece transport includes a guide unit oriented in a longitudinal direction, a drive unit having an electrical supply and a drive motor, and a workpiece gripping unit having two clamping jaws movable relative to one another. A machine tool includes at least one workpiece table, with at least one tool unit movable relative to the workpiece table and with at least two workpiece carriages that are displaceable individually in the longitudinal direction along a machine bed of the machine tool. A manufacturing cell includes such a machine tool and a workpiece supply. The two clamping jaws of the workpiece gripping unit can be displaced relative to one another in a height direction oriented normal to the longitudinal direction and normal to a transverse direction oriented normal to the longitudinal direction. This expands the possible applications of the workpiece carriage.
