A workpiece positioning device for a processing center, and a processing center and a method for positioning a workpiece mounted on a workpiece palette in a processing center is disclosed. The workpiece positioning device comprises a deposit place comprising a horizontal deposit surface for a workpiece palette with a workpiece mounted thereon and a pivot bearing that receives the workpiece palette on a first edge of said workpiece palette in a rotatable manner. Furthermore, the workpiece positioning device comprises a pivoting device for transferring the workpiece palette from a horizontal position into a vertical position, and vice versa. The pivoting device comprises a horizontal and a vertical linear axle and a gripping device and is disposed to grip a workpiece palette on another, second edge and to pivot, by simultaneously moving the horizontal and the vertical linear axles, the workpiece palette around the pivot bearing on a circular path.

Core grasping apparatus
A core grasping apparatus according to the present disclosure grasps a core including a core main body and a core print provided at one end of the core main body. The core grasping apparatus includes: a first holding device and a second holding device respectively including expandable and contractible first and second holding parts; and a turning suppression part configured to suppress the core from turning upon the core print being grasped by the first holding device and the second holding device. The first holding device and the second holding device grasp the core print by respectively expanding the first holding part and the second holding part, and the turning suppression part applies a force that suppresses a turning moment acting on the core to the core print.
PRODUCTION CELL WITH WORKPIECE RETURN
A production cell includes a workpiece conveyor device which has at least one workpiece carriage. It further includes at least one workpiece processing device and a workpiece transfer station. A provided workpiece can be conveyed to the workpiece processing station and from the processing station to the workpiece transfer station by the workpiece carriage. The production cell has a workpiece tilting device which is arranged at the workpiece transfer station and a workpiece return device with a workpiece temporary storage device. A workpiece can be transferred to the workpiece return device by the workpiece tilting device at the workpiece transfer station, and the workpiece can be conveyed into the workpiece temporary storage device. The workpiece can be removed from the workpiece temporary storage device and can be provided to the workpiece conveyor device.

An autonomous production line for machining work pieces e.g. by sawing, milling, boring or grinding and proposes a roller conveyor with machining stations, a placement station and an unloading station. Machining robots machine the work pieces at the machining stations while the work pieces are supported on suction tables.

A provided workpiece can be conveyed to the workpiece processing station and from the processing station to the workpiece transfer station by the workpiece carriage. The production cell has a workpiece tilting device which is arranged at the workpiece transfer station and a workpiece return device with a workpiece temporary storage device. A workpiece can be transferred to the workpiece return device by the workpiece tilting device at the workpiece transfer station, and the workpiece can be conveyed into the workpiece temporary storage device. The workpiece can be removed from the workpiece temporary storage device and can be provided to the workpiece conveyor device.
Overturning and shifting mechanism
An overturning and shifting mechanism, comprising: a carrier platform (10) on which a first item-sensing device (12) is disposed; a transporting device (11) on which a second item-sensing device (13) is disposed; an overturning device (14) which is positioned between the carrier platform (10) and the transporting device (11) and which comprises a driving device (141) and a rotating arm (142), the rotating arm (142) being provided with a suction structure (15) thereon; and a control device which is connected with the first item-sensing device (12), the second item-sensing device (13), the driving device (141) and the suction structure (15), wherein according to sensing signals of the first item-sensing device (12) and the second item-sensing device (13), the control device controls the driving device to drive the rotating arm (142) to rotate reciprocatingly between the carrier platform (10) and the transporting device (11), while at the same time the control device controls sucking or releasing operation of the suction structure (15). The mechanism is mainly used in production process of display devices and solves problems in contaminations and deformations due to overturning and shifting of display panels by manual operations in the conventional arts.
