The track is defined by first and second spaced walls with at least one of the walls being movable with respect to the other wall to accommodate various sized straight edges. The base also includes a laterally extending channel adapted to mount on a straight edge for rip cuts.

Milling device and method for milling within a slot

A milling device is provided, having a milling tool that rotates about a tool rotation axis, wherein the milling device has a slide, and in that the milling tool is held on a pivot axis that extends transversely, in particular perpendicular, to the tool rotation axis and through the slide, wherein the slide is designed and the position of the milling tool is selected such that, during milling, a traversing movement is effected by manually moving the slide and advance is effected by pivoting the milling tool about the pivot axis. Also provided is a method for milling within a slot of a component, in particular within a blade root receiving slot of a turbomachine, using a milling device.

Base attachment module for small aerial vehicles

A base attachment module (BAM) of a small aerial vehicle (SAV) for attaching the SAV to an unprepared work surface has a surface meeting docking assembly (DA) with contact points for contacting the work surface, and a contracting suction cup (CSC) in a position surrounded by the contact points such that it extends beyond a plane (or other surface contour) of the points in a fully extended operating position, and is retracted below the plane in a retracted position. Actuation of the CSC when in contact with the surface, allows for the DA to be brought into contact with the contact points in a controlled manner, for a high stiffness attachment, as is needed for deployment of robotic tasks from a SAV.

Power saw crown molding cutting guide

A cutting guide includes a first guide structure and a second guide structure. The first guide structure includes (i) a first base, (ii) a first saw support attached to the first base and defining a first saw contact surface, and (iii) a second saw support attached to the first base and defining a second saw contact surface that is spaced apart from the first saw contact surface so as to define a first elongated cutting slot therebetween. The second guide structure includes (i) a second base, (ii) a third saw support attached to the second base and defining a third saw contact surface, and (iii) a fourth saw support attached to the second base and defining a fourth saw contact surface that is spaced apart from the third saw contact surface so as to define a second elongated cutting slot therebetween.

Clamping Systems and Methods for Robotic Tools

An apparatus for clamping a robotically controlled tool to a workpiece comprises a tool support mountable on a robotic arm and configured to support the tool, a plurality of clamping modules, each of which includes at least one vacuum cup arranged to clamp the tool support to the workpiece, and an adjustment mechanism configured to adjust the position of the tool support relative to the workpiece.
