A machine tool includes a lower tool post for holding a cutting tool, a tool main spindle for holding a cutting tool, a storage unit capable of storing the cutting tool, an exchange mechanism for exchanging the cutting tools between the tool main spindle and the storage unit, an inside robot for exchanging the cutting tools between the lower tool post and the tool main spindle, and a controller. The controller performs control such that the cutting tools are exchanged between the lower tool post and the storage unit via the inside robot, the tool main spindle, and the exchange mechanism.

Blade guard with dust collection

Blade guards for power tools such as table saws are disclosed. The blade guard may include a shroud that pivots up and down to allow a workpiece to move past the guard, a dust collection channel, and a pivot joint which maintains the dust collection channel in an operable condition as the shroud pivots up or down. The guard may also include a wood stop and anti-kickback pawls. The blade guard may be part of a dust collection system and may be connected to a vacuum system by a conduit such as a flexible hose.

Coolant flow guide for grinder
10702973 · 2020-07-07 · ·

A coolant flow guide for grinder includes a base including a tilted bottom wall having a predetermined tilt angle, a peripheral wall disposed around the tilted bottom wall and defining with the tilted bottom wall a diversion channel having a top opening and a partition wall located on the tilted bottom wall to divide the diversion channel into two flow passages that slope downwardly to the diversion port, and a workpiece positioning unit mounted on the base above the flow passages for holding a workpiece. Thus, when the grinder is operated to grind the workpiece, the debris thus produced is carried by the applied coolant to flow through the flow passages to the outside of the base via the diversion port.

Numerical control device

A numerical control device includes: an estimation unit to estimate an accumulation amount of swarf to be produced when a tool mounted on a machine tool cuts a workpiece on the basis of a machining condition in cutting the workpiece by the tool and a value of current to be applied to a motor for moving a shaft of the machine tool when the tool cuts the workpiece. The numerical control device further includes a correction unit to correct the accumulation amount of swarf estimated by the estimation unit on the basis of a machining mode specifying a shape of swarf to be produced when the tool cuts the workpiece.

Swarf handing apparatus
10702962 · 2020-07-07 · ·

A swarf handling apparatus installed in a machining tool that performs machining operation accompanied with production of stringy swarf includes a swarf catching device. The swarf catching device includes a holder unit that holds the stringy swarf when the stringy swarf makes contact with the holder unit. The swarf catching device causes the holder unit to be floated in a region around a machining point in such a manner that the position of the holder unit is varied relative to the machining point, for catching the stringy swarf in the holder unit.

Cylindrical filtration filter

A cylindrical filtration filter includes a cylindrical filter main body. The filter main body is constituted by at least two split filters. Each of the split filters has an arc shape in cross section. Each of the split filters includes a filter element for filtration and side frame bodies provided along side portions of the filter element. The side frame body of one of the two split filters adjacent to each other includes a first facing surface having an uneven shape. The side frame body of the other split filter includes a second facing surface having an uneven shape complementary to the first facing surface. The first facing surface and the second facing surface are fitted to each other when the filter main body is assembled.

Method for producing bearing components by means of a production line, production line and production system

A method for producing one or more bearing components along a production line, comprising honing the bearing components along the production line, cleaning the bearing components along the production line, grinding the bearing components along the production line, and transporting the bearing components along the production line utilizing one or more transport units.

Cutting fluid supply device of machine tool

A machine tool equipped with a robot includes a stocker which has one or more effector holder units for holding an end effector to be mounted on the robot, in which the stocker can be stored within a casing of the machine tool. At least a part of the stocker is configured to be bilaterally advanceable into a machining chamber of the machine tool and an external region located outside the machine tool.

CUTTING FLUID TANK FOR MACHINE TOOL
20200122282 · 2020-04-23 ·

Provided is a cutting fluid tank for a machine tool, which is capable of sufficiently collecting and removing sludge mixed in a cutting fluid even when a chip conveyor or the like is disposed in a tank main body, and with which a location where sludge remains accumulating on a bottom of the tank main body is less likely to occur even when an operation is restarted after being suspended. A cutting fluid tank includes: a tank main body; a first circulation pump; a sludge transfer nozzle configured to eject the sludge-containing cutting fluid pumped out by the first circulation pump, toward a sludge collection pump; a second circulation; and first agitation nozzles configured to eject the sludge-containing cutting fluid that is pumped out by the second circulation pump, toward predetermined points in the tank main body.
