Blade guard for saw of saw house and method
A blade guard assembly for a circular saw blade of a saw house includes a blade cover with a face panel and an edge portion that extends from the face panel. An actuator is mountable the blade cover and the structure of the saw house. When the blade guard assembly is mounted in saw house, the blade cover is movable with the actuator between a covered position and an exposed position. In the covered position, the face panel and edge portion at least partially surround the saw blade. In the exposed position, the face panel is spaced from the saw blade.
ELECTRICALLY INSULATED LOCKING ELEMENT
A machine tool having a tool holder for exchangeably holding a tool is provided, the machine tool including: a machine tool housing; a spindle rotatably mounted in the machine tool housing a drive end being connected to a drive for rotating the spindle about an axis of rotation and a holding end being coupled to the tool holder; and a locking device arranged in the machine tool housing and which has a locking element reversibly movable between a release position and a locking position, a locking end of the locking element having an interlocking connector and the spindle having a mating interlocking connector, the interlocking connector being disengaged from the mating interlocking connector in the release position to enable rotational motion of the spindle, and the interlocking connector being engaged with the mating interlocking connector in the locking position to prevent rotational motion of the spindle and to enable an exchange of the tool of the tool holder, the locking device also including an electrically insulating mounting device for mounting the locking element in the machine tool housing to electrically insulate the locking element from the machine tool housing.

DUST SUPPRESSION ASSEMBLY
A dust suppression assembly is to be fixed on a handheld device. The dust suppression assembly comprises a device interface member having a top end and a bottom end and an intermediate member having a first intermediate end and a second intermediate end, the first intermediate end adapted to be coupled with the bottom end of the device interface member. Further, the device interface member is having a first channel and the intermediate member is having a second channel, the first channel and second channel joins to form a passage for supplying water to the working end of the tool for suppression of dust, while the handheld device is in use.
Machine control and data logging station
A machine control and data logging station, intended for use with a saw or other machine tool, features a processor which monitors a number of input lines, a real time clock and time stamp function. Any change of input signals from the machine tool will be recorded in flash memory. Both wired and wireless outputs may read the memory at any given time. Optionally, hardware or software data communication encryption may be employed to provide increased confidentiality and security. The station continually monitors sensor inputs and can react automatically to emergency-stop the machine tool upon sensing a dangerous condition.
Safety system and method for a portable electrical tool
The present invention relates to a system for increasing the safety of a portable electrical tool (10), comprising: a generator (40) of a radio-electric signal, which generator is electrically coupled to said user (1) so as to inject into the body of the user (1) said radio-electric signal (s(t)), said radio-electric signal (s(t)) then being emitted by said user (1) in the form of an electromagnetic signal; and the portable electrical tool (10), which is arranged to be borne by a member of the user and comprises: a machining member (4); a holding member (2); an actuator connected to the machining member (4); an antenna fastened to the machining member (4) and/or the holding member (2) and arranged to receive a radio-electric signal corresponding to the electromagnetic signal emitted by the user (1). A computing module (30) determines a distance between the user and the machining member and/or holding member on the basis of the electromagnetic signal received by the antenna, and modifies accordingly the speed of the actuator.
Method for Controlling a Motor of a Hand-Held Power Tool
The disclosure relates to a method for controlling a motor of a hand-held power tool by means of a blockable operating element, wherein a first position and a second position of the operating element are ascertained. According to the disclosure, the motor remains deactivated if a deviation of the ascertained first position from the ascertained second position is less than a threshold value.
Control method for an electric power tool
A power tool has a tool holder, an electric motor, a handle, and a main switch for switching on the electric motor. The power tool executes the following control method. The main switch is scanned to see whether it has been actuated. A start inhibitor transmits a blocking signal to a motor controller if the main switch is actuated before the power tool has been connected to the power supply. An activator receives signals from a control unit separate from the electric power tool, compares the received signals with a predefined signature and transmits a release signal to the motor controller if the received signal corresponds to the predefined signature. The motor controller switches on the electric motor in response to actuation of the main switch if the start inhibitor is not transmitting a blocking signal or the activator is transmitting a release signal.
SCRAPER FOR SCRAPING A SURFACE OF A MACHINE TOOL HAVING A WEAR-INDICATING DEVICE
The present invention relates to a scraper (14) for scraping a surface of a machine tool having a wear-indicating device (18, 20, 24, 30) for the scraper lip (16) of the scraper. At least one signal line (18) is embedded in the scraper lip (16) in such a manner that, upon reaching the wear limit (G), at least one section of the signal line (18) is exposed.
