MACHINE TOOL HAVING FUNCTION OF DIAGNOSING ABNORMALITY OF SPEED REDUCER OF TOOL CHANGER
Tool mass arrangement patterns of masses of tools loaded onto tool holding parts of a tool magazine and thresholds, which are associated with the patterns and used to diagnose the abnormality of a speed reducer, are stored after associating the patterns with the thresholds. In addition, the masses of the tools loaded onto the respective tool holding parts are stored. Further, a tool mass arrangement pattern similar to a stored tool mass arrangement, among the stored tool mass arrangement patterns, is selected, and a threshold associated with the selected tool mass arrangement pattern is set as a threshold to be used to diagnose the abnormality of the speed reducer.
ELECTRIC APPARATUS WITH FOREIGN MATTER DETECTION PANEL
An electric apparatus comprises a foreign matter detection panel arranged inside a casing and configured to detect contact of foreign matter. The electric apparatus comprises a detection controller which receives a signal outputted from the foreign matter detection panel and judges whether or not foreign matter is in contact with a surface of the foreign matter detection panel. The foreign matter detection panel includes a substrate, a transmitter which generates a surface acoustic wave on the substrate. The foreign matter detection panel includes a reflection array which reflects the surface acoustic wave in a predetermined direction and a receiver which receives the surface acoustic wave which has propagated along the substrate.
MACHINE TOOL
A machine tool according to the present invention is provided with a door opening/closing device including a movable door, a door opening/closing drive motor configured to drive the movable door, a power transferring mechanism configured to transfer power of the door opening/closing drive motor to the movable door. The machine tool includes a disturbance torque estimation unit configured to estimate a disturbance torque applied to the door opening/closing drive motor at an opening/closing operation of the movable door, a torque comparison unit configured to compare the disturbance torque estimated by the disturbance torque estimation unit to a predetermined first upper limit and a predetermined first lower limit, and a motor stop unit configured to stop the opening/closing operation of the movable door when the torque comparison unit determines that the disturbance torque is larger than the first upper limit or smaller than the first lower limit.
CONTROLLER WITH COOLANT MONITORING FUNCTION
A controller for controlling a machine includes a coolant monitoring function. The controller generates and records history information in which the measurement values of a state of a coolant are associated with time information on the time when the measurement values are measured. Then, a rate of change in a measurement value for a state of the coolant is calculated based on the recorded history information, and a state of the coolant and a countermeasure therefore are determined based on the calculated rate of change in the measurement value.
MIST REMOVAL SYSTEM AND MIST REMOVAL METHOD
A mist removal system includes an observation unit that observes a situation related to the mist concentration in a factory, a first mist countermeasure unit that reduces the mist concentration in a machine tool, a second mist countermeasure unit that reduces the mist concentration in the factory, and a control unit. The control unit controls observation by the observation unit and interlocking operation of the first mist countermeasure unit and the second mist countermeasure unit. Furthermore, the control unit determines the control details of interlocking operation of the first and second mist countermeasure units based on the observation results of the mist concentration obtained by the observation unit.
HOUSING OF ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS DETECTING DEPOSITED CUTTING FLUID AND MOTOR DRIVE SYSTEM INCLUDING HOUSING
A motor drive system enabling detection of cutting fluid deposited at a housing of electronic components. A housing holding electronic components of a motor drive system has top faces slanted with respect to the horizontal plane so as to guide the deposited cutting fluid. The housing further includes storage parts collecting the cutting fluid guided along the top faces. The storage parts may be graduated so as to enable the collected amount of the cutting fluid to be measured. The storage parts may be configured to be detachable from the housing.
Control device of machine tool which estimates overheating of motor
A control device of a machine tool which filters possible continued machining time data estimated from a value of current of a motor to thereby enable an accurate grasp of the time regardless of fluctuation of the load, that is, a control device of a machine tool which has a motor which drives a spindle, which control device of a machine tool can use a value of current of the motor, an overheat temperature of the motor, and a temperature of the motor to estimate the time until reaching the overheat temperature when the current operating current continues to be run through the motor, filter the estimated value of time by a filter to display a possible continued processing time, change a filter time constant based on either of a value of current and current command value, and accurately display the possible continued processing time even if the load fluctuates.
Machine tool and machine tool system
A machine tool includes: a door that opens and closes an opening in a shield cover surrounding a machining chamber; an electromagnetic lock device that includes dual-system switches that detect an open/closed state of the door, and that can lock the door in a closed state; a door position detection unit that detects a position of the door; and a report unit that monitors states of the dual-system switches of the electromagnetic lock device and suggests maintenance of the door when the states differ from each other for a predetermined period of time and when the door position detection unit detects that the door is not in a closed position.
Monitoring device and monitoring method
Provided is a monitoring device and a monitoring method that can capture the condition of a coolant in detail. A monitoring device according to one embodiment includes: a first detection unit that detects a first physical quantity; a second detection unit that detects a second physical quantity; a ratio calculation unit that calculates the ratio between a first value obtained when the first physical quantity is expressed using a specified unit, and a second value obtained when the second physical quantity is expressed using a specified unit; and an inferring unit that, if the calculated ratio is above an upper limit value of a management range or below a lower limit value of the management range, infers that one among an oil and an electrolyte contained in the coolant is abnormal.
TOOL STATUS DISPLAY DEVICE, NUMERICAL CONTROLLER FOR MACHINE TOOL, MACHINE TOOL, AND TOOL PREPARATION METHOD
A tool status display device includes a memory, a processor, and a display. The memory is configured to store first data that associates each attachment surfaces with each tools, and second data that identifies whether tool nose positions of noses of the tools have been measured. The processor is configured to determine whether designated tool among the plurality of tools is attached to designated attachment surface among the plurality of attachment surfaces based on the first data and third data that associates the designated tool with the designated attachment surface. The processor is configured to determine whether designated tool nose positions of the designated tool among the tool nose positions have been measured based on the third data and the second data. The display is configured to show whether the designated tool is attached to the designated attachment surface and whether the designated tool nose positions have been measured.
