FRAME APPARATUS
A frame apparatus for displaying an article. The frame apparatus includes a support structure having a frame and a backer panel. A plurality of slots are formed into the backer panel that include a first slot that is elongated along a first axis that is parallel to top and bottom edges of the support structure and a second slot that is elongated along a second axis that is parallel to lateral edges of the support structure. The frame apparatus may include a hanging element for hanging the support structure from a support surface such as a wall. The hanging element may be configured to be slidably coupled to the support structure such that the hanging element can slide back and forth within one of the slots while remaining coupled to the support structure. This structure enables the frame apparatus to move side-to-side along the support surface while hanging therefrom.
Adjustable Magnetic Surface Mount
A surface mount includes a base plate, set of magnets, and magnet retaining plate. Magnetic coupling between the magnets and the metallic base plate that has an area larger than the magnet area allows for accurate positioning of the object after installation via adjustments in horizontal, vertical, and angular position of the object. Marking pegs allow for trouble-free and easy marking of the mounting surface for installing the magnet retaining plate. Optional spacers provide flexibility for use with various mounted objects. Lighting and lighting control allow for visual effects associated with the surface mount.
System for Mounting Objects to a Structure
A system for mounting an object on a structure includes a pivoting mounting bracket portion and a rail portion. The mounting bracket portion includes a front plate that is pivotally coupled to a back plate. The rail portion is shaped in the form a C-channel. The back plate is sized and shaped to snugly fit within the C-channel of the rail portion. The rail portion is configured to be attached to the structure, and the front plate is configured to be attached to the object.
WALL MOUNTING ATTACHMENT DEVICE
A wall mounting apparatus including a first prism and a second prism. The first prism includes a first surface and a second surface, the first surface being parallel to the second surface. The first surface further includes a first aperture extending through the first surface and the second surface. The shape of the first aperture can include a semicircular arch. The second prism comprising a third surface and a fourth surface, the third surface being parallel the fourth surface. The fourth surface of the second prism may mount to the first surface of the first prism. The second prism may include a second aperture extending through the third surface and the fourth surface. The second aperture may include an elongated shape configured to form a locking interface.
Reflective video display apparatus for interactive training and demonstration and methods of using same
A smart mirror can show live or recorded streaming video of an instructor performing a workout in a package that is attractive and unobtrusive enough to hang in a living room. The smart mirror includes a mirror surface with a fully reflecting section and a partially reflecting section. A display behind the partially reflecting section shows the video when the smart mirror is on and is almost invisible when the smart mirror is off. The smart mirror also has a speaker, a microphone, and a camera to enable a user to view the video content and interact with the instructor. The smart mirror may connect to the user's smart phone, a peripheral device (e.g., a Bluetooth speaker) to augment user experience, a biometric sensor to provide biometric data to assess user performance, and/or a network router to connect the smart mirror to a content provider, an instructor, and/or other users.

MIRROR MOUNTING ASSEMBLY
An exemplary support structure for a planar faceplate includes ribs extending substantially perpendicular to a bottom surface of the planar faceplate. Spaced apart projections extend from the ribs towards the bottom surface of the planar faceplate and have distal ends that engage and are secured to the bottom surface. Each distal end defines an area with a numerical value that is less than the thickness of the planar faceplate measured in the same measurement units as the area to limit any stress formations induced in the planar faceplate due to thermal changes from reaching a top surface of the planar faceplate. Alternatively, the projections may be spaced apart mesas extending outward from a rigid material.

NETWORK SETUP FOR DIGITAL PICTURE FRAMES
A picture frame and methods of setup, gifting, and/or use. Network connection allows digital frames to be set up remotely by a first user for a second user. The first user can upload photos from electronic devices or from photo collections of community members before the second user receives the frame device. The frame is thus ready for display upon powering on by the second user. An integrated camera is used to automatically determine an identity of a frame viewer and can capture gesture-based feedback. The displayed photos are automatically shown and/or changed according to the detected viewers. The photos can be filtered and cropped at the receiver side. Clustering photos by content is used to improve display and to respond to photo viewer desires.
