A magnetic track assembly including an elongate channel having an open side, an end wall, and two parallel side walls; a first magnet disposed within the elongate channel near an interior side of the end wall; a compartment defined within the elongate channel spaced from the first magnet; and a screen receiver disposed within the compartment and including a second magnet arranged facing the first magnet. In the magnetic track assembly, the first and second magnets are of opposite polarity and the screen receiver is loosely disposed within the compartment such that a magnetic bond is intact between the first and second magnets when the first and second magnets are close together and the magnetic bond is broken when the first and second magnets are pulled apart.

A positioning seat is fixed to an end of each sliding rod distant to the main rod. Each sliding rod has a coupling portion. A spool is rotatably mounted to the positioning seats of the supporting unit. A shade body includes a first periphery fixed to the spool and a second periphery. The shade body is coiled around the spool. A weighting unit includes a rod body formed by an inner rod and two movable rods. Each movable rod is slideably mounted to one of two ends of the inner rod. The shade body is wound around the rod body. The second periphery of the shade body is fixed to the coupling portions of the two sliding rods.

A roller blind assembly is described that is made at least in part with a laminate material that includes a roller blind screen and a non-woven backing material applied to the roller blind screen by pressure or heat. If an adhesive is used, the adhesive can be applied to the front side of the non-woven backing material, after which the front side of the non-woven backing material is then attached or bonded to the rear side of the roller blind screen to form the roller blind laminate material. When placed in an architectural opening, such as a window, the roller blind laminate material can reduce or diffuse the light transmission in a room to create a diffused, opaque, or shielded view to the outside while still providing a warm ambiance to an architectural structure or room.

Quiet motorized window treatment system

A motorized window treatment system may include a roller tube, a covering material windingly attached to the roller tube, and a drive assembly that may be at least partially disposed within the roller tube. The drive assembly may include a motor having a drive shaft that is elongate along a longitudinal direction and a drive gear attached to the drive shaft such that a toothed portion of the drive gear is cantilevered with respect to the drive shaft. The drive assembly may include a gear assembly having a pair of intermediate gears on opposed sides of the drive gear. Rotation of the drive gear may be transferred through the pair of intermediate gears, a connecting gear, a planetary gear set, a cage, and an idler to the roller tube. Rotation of the roller tube may cause the covering material to move between an open position and a closed position.

Roll-up retractable covering for architectural openings

A retractable covering for an architectural opening includes a headrail in which a control system is mounted and a fabric suspended from the headrail. The fabric is mounted to be moved laterally between a rolled up retracted position and an extended position across the architectural opening. At least one roller about which the fabric can be wrapped is mounted at an end of the headrail for rotation about a vertical axis, and the system includes a flexible control element that is substantially horizontally disposed for moving the covering between extended and retracted positions.

The invention relates to a device (32) for manually actuating a piece of closing or sun protection equipment (10), in particular of the blinds or rolling shutters type, including a stationary case (42) having two aligned bearings (44) defining an axis of rotation (200), a worm (34) guided in rotation in the bearings (44) and a driving rod (54) to rotate the worm (34). The worm (34) being passed through by an axial hole (52), the driving rod (54) being able to be inserted in the axial hole (52) by securing the driving rod (54) in rotation with the worm (34). A snapping connection between an elastically deformable staple (56) and a bearing shoulder (64) allows the insertion of the driving rod (54) into the axial hole (52), and blocking the removal of the driving rod (54) inserted into the axial hole (52).

SCREEN SYSTEM AND STRUCTURE

A screen system for deployment over a surface is disclosed herein. The screen system comprises a first screen structure (550) and a second screen structure (553). Each screen structure comprises a panel element (544a,554b) attached to at least one support element (501a,501b,503a,503b), wherein the at least one support element and the panel element are attached to and configured to be rollable about a rotor (516a,516b) configured to rotate about a longitudinal axis to provide for extension and retraction thereof along a direction generally perpendicular to the longitudinal axis. The rotor of the second screen structure is configured to be moveable relative to the rotor of the first screen structure.
