Turret tool post

A turret tool post includes a turning part having a plurality of turret surfaces on which tools for machining a workpiece are mounted, the turning part being configured to select any one of the tools for use in the machining of the workpiece by turning; a non-turning part on which a laser head of a laser machining device different from the tool is mounted, the non-turning part being arranged inside the turning part, an optical fiber cable being connected to the laser head; and a cut part (machinable part) that allows machining by the laser head to the workpiece under a state in which the laser head is selected.

Tool turret

A tool turret, in particular intended for use in a machine tool, is for an automated tool change process. In a work station (7) of the pivotable tool disk (5), a holder (9) intended for receiving a machining tool (15) can be attached to the tool disk (5) in a re-detachable manner by a clamping device (31) assigned to the work station (7). In an adjusting position of the tool disk (5) that differs from the working position (11), the respective clamping device (31) can be activated or deactivated, while leaving the holder (9) on the tool disk (5). In a changing position of the tool disk different from the working (11) and adjusting positions (57), the clamping device (31) unlocks the holder (9) in such a way that the holder can be removed from the tool disk (5) and replaced with another holder (9) to be used.

TURRET TOOL HOLDER

A turret tool holder includes an engagement means having engaging elements on a turret side and a support base side, a clutch member for transmitting a driving power to a turret drive section, and a moving mechanism. The moving mechanism includes a rotatably supported drive shaft, a first feed screw mechanism and a second feed screw mechanism rotatable in response to the rotational drive of the drive shaft for moving the clutch member and the engagement elements, and a coordination mechanism arranged between the drive shaft and the first feed screw mechanism or the second feed screw mechanism, for moving the engaging elements in response to the rotational drive of the drive shaft, with a feed amount smaller than the feed amount of the clutch member.

In some examples, a moveable member including multiple tools is moveable relative to a fixed member to position a selected tool for performing an operation. A first connector half may be included on the fixed member for connecting to one of a plurality of second connector halves included on the moveable member. Movement of the moveable member to position the selected tool for performing the operation moves a respective second connector half associated with the selected tool into connection with the first connector half. In addition, a respective nozzle assembly may be associated with each tool. The respective nozzle assembly may receive multiple fluids including at least one fluid received through the connection between the connector halves. The nozzle assembly includes an inner nozzle that outputs a gas and an annular outer nozzle that outputs a machining liquid to generate a mixture to direct toward a tool-workpiece interface.

Turret tool rest and machine tool

A turret tool rest includes a main shaft, a turret turning shaft, a turret, a joint base, a mill housing connection shaft, and an engagement member. The main shaft rotates a tool. A part of the main shaft is provided in the turret turning shaft. The turret turning shaft has a first coupling hole. The turret is connected to the turret turning shaft via which the turret is rotated. The joint base has a second coupling hole. The mill housing connection shaft is connected to the joint base. The mill housing connection shaft is provided between the main shaft and the turret turning shaft. Each of the mill housing connection shaft, the joint base, the part of the main shaft, and the turret turning shaft are disposed to rotate around a rotation axis of the turret. The engagement member moves in the first coupling hole and the second coupling hole.
