A dust seal is provided in the void portion on an opposite side to the bearing-side with respect to the oil seal.
MOVABLE TABLE ASSEMBLY FOR A MACHINE TOOL OF LARGE DIMENSIONS
A table assembly for a machine tool is provided. The table assembly has a slide, a rotatable table and a table rotation mechanism placed on board the slide and adapted to be driven to rotate the table about a vertical axis. The table rotation mechanism has at least one rotation assembly engaged with a ring gear of the table. The at least one rotation assembly has a torque motor having a vertical motor axis and a reduction gear having an inlet engaged with the torque motor, and an outlet pinion engaged with the ring gear of the table, coaxial to the motor axis. The machine tool is a milling machine or a gantry boring machine.
TABLE GROUP FOR A MACHINE TOOL
A table group for a machine tool is provided. The table group has a support assembly, a table, a ring gear provided with a lower face and an upper face, integral with the table, a plurality of main hydrostatic skids, a detection device for detecting a lifting action generated by the main hydrostatic skids, a plurality of dogs and an electronic management device operatively connected to the main hydrostatic skids, the dogs and the detection device, configured to control the dogs to generate a contrasting action. The lifting action is equal to a predetermined constant nominal load greater than the weight of a semi-finished product and either smaller than or equal to a maximum load which can be borne by the main hydrostatic skids.
TILTING DEVICE
A driving device including a drive shaft and a first engaging member. The drive shaft rotates around a first axis. The first engaging member is disposed on the first axis to rotate integrally with the drive shaft. The power transmission mechanism includes a second engaging member, a propeller shaft, a piston, and a reduction gear. The second engaging member is disposed on the first axis engageable with/disengageable from the first engaging member. The propeller shaft is rotatable integrally with the second engaging member around the first axis. The piston reciprocates the second engaging member between a first position and a second position along a direction of the first axis. The reduction gear is joined to the other end side of the propeller shaft to decelerate the rotation of the propeller shaft. The reduction gear causes an output shaft joined to an object to rotate around a second axis.
Apparatus for adding an additional rotation axis to a multi-axis tooling machine
An apparatus for adding an additional rotational axis in a multi-axis tooling machine is disclosed. The apparatus includes a base unit, an indexer disk, a securement mechanism, and a pointer mechanism. The base unit is supported by the tooling machine, and the indexer disk is supported by the base unit. The indexer disk includes a periphery with a plurality of grooves spaced at radial angles with respect to a rotation axis of the indexer disk. The securement mechanism is adjustable to a fixed state in which it prevents the indexer disk from rotating, and to a released state in which the securement mechanism releases the indexer disk for rotation. The pointer mechanism is disposed at the periphery of the indexer disk for releasable engagement with the plurality of grooves. A method for adding an additional rotation axis to a multi-axis tooling machine is also disclosed.
ROTARY TABLE
A rotary table according to the exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure includes a piston 70 having a first tapered portion 72, and a clamp 80 having a second tapered portion 82. When the first tapered portion 72 comes into close contact with the second tapered portion 82 by a movement of the piston 70, a pallet base 30 is fixed to a table base 10, and thus the pallet base 30 is rotated, thereby maintaining a preset posture.
Rotation table
A rotation table that includes therein a rotation axis, a work placement table connected to one end of the rotation axis, a clamping device configured to hold the work placement table at a stop position, and a switching valve configured to switch the clamping device. The rotation table includes a member, to connect the clamping device and the switching valve to each other, having a pressure fluid supply flow passageway formed therein, so that the clamping device and a flow passageway of the switching valve communicate with each other.
ROTATING TABLE DEVICE
A rotating table is maintained in a stationary state by generating a clamping torque while ensuring a long enough lifetime of a plate spring. Provided is a rotating table device including: base members; a rotating member that is supported by the base members so as to be rotatable about an axis; a brake disk that is secured to the rotating member; and a clamping mechanism that clamps the brake disk, wherein the clamping mechanism is provided with a piston that is attached so as to be movable between a clamped position and an unclamped position in a direction along the axis with respect to the base members, a plate spring that is secured to the piston and the base members and that biases the piston toward the clamped position, and a coil spring that is disposed between the piston and the base members, and that constantly biases the piston toward the clamped position.
