The present invention relates to a dual temperature blanket device primarily comprised of a first panel, a second panel connected to the first panel, and a third panel connected to the first panel opposite the second panel. Further, the second and third panels may be made from cooling or warming materials. In another embodiment the second and third panels may be comprised of heating or cooling elements to further heat or cool the user. In one embodiment, the device is further comprised of at least one fold that allows a user to cover themselves up with their panel. The fold may be further comprised of a fastener that allows a user to detach the panels and wash them, replace damaged panels, or exchange panels. The device thus allows users to sleep in their preferred temperatures.

A device is disclosed that provides parasite, dust mite and allergen protection for an encasement used for a mattress or foundation. The device can be part of the original encasement or added as an after-market item to a conventional encasement to prevent the egress of parasites, dust mites and allergens from the gap between the zipper slide and the zipper stop and prevent movement of the zipper slide when the zipper is completely zipped up. The device includes a at least one compressible material that is used. The compressible material is compressed to seal the gap and prevent movement of the zipper slide. In one embodiment of the invention, the device allows the mattress or foundation within the encasement to breathe while blocking parasites, dust mites and allergens from escaping from within the encasement.

A multifunctional pillow, which is related to the field of medical healthcare, comprising: a cervical curve standard pillow (1), a control board (2), a magnetic therapy massage bar (11), a heating strip (12), an intermediate-frequency electrotherapy bar (13), an ultrasound therapy head (21), a negative ion generator (22), a music player (23), a health and sleep-aiding mask (24), and a microcontroller (25). An orthopedic cushion includes a head support segment and a torso support segment. The head support segment has a width between first and second ends thereof. The torso support segment is connected to the head support segment at a middle region of the head support segment halfway between the first and second ends. The torso support segment has a width between first and second lateral edges thereof. The width of the torso support segment is less than the width of the head support segment to define a first well and a second well on either side of the torso support segment adjacent the head support segment. The first well is defined along the first lateral edge, and the second well is defined along the second lateral edge.

A pillow cover is provided that includes a first panel and a second panel perimetrically joined with the first panel such that inner surfaces of the first and second panels define a cavity having a void volume. The first and second panels are each made from a first material. An opening extends through the inner surface of the first panel and an outer surface of the first panel. Sleeping accessories such as mattress pads, mattress topper covers, and sheet savers are disclosed herein comprising integrated padded mesh material. Integrated padded mesh material, when used in the sleeping accessories, results in improved air flow for the user, which can reduce complications during sleep such as sudden infant death syndrome. The material may have one or multiple layers, and may include a moisture wicking fabric, allergy-blocking fabric, or water resistant fabric. Certain layers are padded to provide more comfort for the user and in some embodiments, the padded layer may be sloped to assist with reflux.

The invention comprises a plurality of components, each of which impedes or prevents intrusion by bed bugs onto a bed or kill them upon contact. A fitted sheet, impenetrable to bed bugs is removeably attached to a slippery skirt, which is too smooth for a bed bug to climb. Together, these inhibit bed bugs from climbing to the top of the bed from the floor or through the mattress. Zippers to attach the fitted sheet and slippery skirt are designed to prevent small gaps. Headboard and footboard attachments of a slippery skirt design further prevent incursion and form passive traps for encroaching bed bugs. A pesticide infused second skirt attached to the slippery skirt around the bed springs actively kills bed bugs which contact it, reducing the number of bed bugs living in an infested mattress. All parts except the slippery skirts and pesticidal skirt may be washed or heated in a conventional dryer, killing invasive bed bugs, thereby permitting extended use, reuse and higher effectiveness of the invention.

A breathable blanket may be made from a breathable mesh material to improve airflow through the blanket. The breathable blanket may include a multi-layer material having a combination of light-weight modal fabric and padding. Breathable padded mesh may also be used with the modal fabric. The padding may include a thin polyfill formed of adjacent, parallel rows. The blanket may be have a shape similar to an animal and include attachments, such as a stuffed polyfill head. Additionally, the blanket may include ornamental additions of satin to further convey the animal shape.

An apparatus and method for making same utilizing a breathable mesh material having a reduced suffocation resistance level for infant and toddler use. The breathable mesh material includes an inner and outer fabric that includes larger openings on the front substructure than on the back substructure and a pile substructure is integrated and extends between the front and back substructures allowing air to substantially move effectively therethrough.
