A crib liner, suitable for use with a crib, wherein the crib has a first, second, third and fourth side configured for receiving a mattress is disclosed. The crib also includes four corners, wherein each corner is constructed as part of where two adjacent sides meet; wherein at least one first, second, third or fourth sides has a horizontal top bar and a plurality of vertical spaced support elements. The crib liner includes at least a first panel configured to cover a portion of the vertical spaced support elements. The first panel includes a breathable body portion, a bottom border, a top border and side borders and at least a first and second fastener at each end to attach the first panel to the crib. The breathable body portion includes a first material having a front layer and a back layer attached to each other and having different fabric weaves; the breathable body portion having an air permeability of between 385 CFM to 1530 CFM and a light permeability of between 47 and 99%.

The invention is a computerized ultrasound blanket scanning device using sonographic waves allowing contemporaneous monitoring of fetal-maternal vital signs, and pertinent laboratory following the development of the fetal/maternal physiology in the gravid phase. Innovatively, the surface area assessed, is determined by the computerized ultrasound blanket instead of a manual transducer probe, leading to user dependent errors/misinformation. The challenges include maintaining the sonographic frequencies low enough to prevent cavitation of biochemical molecules within the fetus and Mother via heating, and preventing short circuit of pico-nano transducers keys over time. The solution entails replacing the transducers every 6-12 months using current upgrades of technologically advanced transducers, with progressively smaller transducers over time.

The invention comprises a plurality of components, each of which impedes or prevents intrusion by bed bugs onto a bed or kill them upon contact. A fitted sheet, impenetrable to bed bugs is removeably attached to a slippery skirt, which is too smooth for a bed bug to climb. Together, these inhibit bed bugs from climbing to the top of the bed from the floor or through the mattress. Zippers to attach the fitted sheet and slippery skirt are designed to prevent small gaps. Headboard and footboard attachments of a slippery skirt design further prevent incursion and form passive traps for encroaching bed bugs. A pesticide infused second skirt attached to the slippery skirt around the bed springs actively kills bed bugs which contact it, reducing the number of bed bugs living in an infested mattress. All parts except the slippery skirts and pesticidal skirt may be washed or heated in a conventional dryer, killing invasive bed bugs, thereby permitting extended use, reuse and higher effectiveness of the invention.

An apparatus and method for making same utilizing a breathable mesh material having a reduced suffocation resistance level for infant and toddler use. The breathable mesh material includes an inner and outer fabric that includes larger openings on the front substructure than on the back substructure and a pile substructure is integrated and extends between the front and back substructures allowing air to substantially move effectively therethrough.

Integrated padded mesh material, when used in the sleeping accessories, results in improved air flow for the user, which can reduce complications during sleep such as sudden infant death syndrome. The material may have one or multiple layers, and may include a moisture wicking fabric, allergy-blocking fabric, or water resistant fabric. Certain layers are padded to provide more comfort for the user and in some embodiments, the padded layer may be sloped to assist with reflux.

A bed bug protective encasement for a mattress comprising a cover having an elongated opening with a first end and a second end formed therein, the elongated opening being adaptable to receive the mattress within the cover. A primary zipper is disposed along the elongated opening and having a slider movable from the first end to the second end to close the elongated opening. A flap attached to the cover adjacent the second end of the elongated opening is foldable over the second end of the elongated opening, the primary zipper extending onto the flap and terminating near a distal end of the flap. A secondary zipper system has a first zipper attached to a side of the flap and a second zipper attached to an opposite side of the flap, to secure the flap when the flap is folded over the second end of the elongated opening.

A mattress bag assembly includes a bag that is selectively be positioned around a mattress. A first barrier unit is coupled to the mattress to pose an obstacle for the bed bugs thereby requiring the bed bugs to crawl over the first barrier unit. The first barrier unit includes a first adhesive to adhere to the bed bugs when the bed bugs crawl over the first barrier unit. Thus, the bed bugs are inhibited from accessing a person lying on the mattress. A second barrier unit is coupled to the mattress to pose an obstacle for the bed bugs thereby requiring the bed bugs to crawl over the second barrier unit. The second barrier unit includes a second adhesive to adhere to the bed bugs when the bed bugs crawl over the second barrier unit. Thus, the bed bugs are inhibited from accessing a person lying on the mattress.
