A substrate is provided having a tactile object attached, the substrate constructed of a first material forming a shell. The tactile object may be formed of a second material that is different than the first material, the tactile object formed in the shape of a comfort item. The tactile object further has a first side providing tactile sensory feedback, and a second side configured to be attached to the shell such that the first side of the tactile object extends away from the first rectangular side of the shell. According to the inventive concepts disclosed herein, the substrate is provided to a user in need of comfort and the tactile object provides tactile sensory feedback to the user designed to comfort the user.

A therapeutic blanket including first and second outer layers that are attached together, and an internal matrix of generally equal sized cells. Each cell containing a measured weighted mass, the mass being held within the respective cell. The matrix being secured to the first and second outer layers along an outer perimeter of the blanket.

A neck pillow for supporting the head of a user comprises left, right, and rear portions so as to be generally U-shaped. The neck pillow may include an inner frame which may be made of a material more rigid and denser than an outer material of the pillow so as to provide support. The left and right portions may include a chin support or protrusion so as to increase user comfort. A bed linen combination for use on a mattress. The combination includes a bottom fitted sheet having a first side, an opposing second side, a top edge and a foot-end which is sized and shaped to fit over the mattress. The combination also includes a top flat sheet attached to the bottom fitted sheet at the foot-end and a portion of the first and second sides of the bottom fitted sheet at first and second side attachment segments. Tags may also be affixed at the ends of the side attachment segments to the top flat sheet and bottom fitted sheet. In another embodiment of the present invention, a blanket may be magnetically held in place at the foot-end of the top flat sheet and bottom fitted sheet.

A reinforcing clinical wrap is provided with integral thermal management. The clinical wrap includes a fluid circuit for a heat transfer medium to circulate between a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet. A shape conforming medium is disposed within a portion of the clinical wrap providing selective reinforcement support of the portion of the clinical wrap to conform to a surface of a patient. Non-limiting examples of the shape conforming medium may include a magnetorheological elastomer, a magnetorheological elastomer, a magnetorheological foam, a UV curable resin, and a phase change material.
