Method for grinding electrode tip
Provided is a method for grinding electrode tips such that the method is capable of detecting irregular grinding when the maximum torque does not occur. Specifically, a tip dresser includes a holder holding a cutter, a servo motor unit allowing the holder to rotate, and a controller controlling the operation of the servo motor unit. The servo motor unit outputs a torque occurrence signal to the controller when a load torque reaches a predetermined value in regular grinding of a pair of electrode tips. The controller detects irregular grinding when not receiving the torque occurrence signal within a time that corresponds to an elapsed time in the regular grinding.
MEDICAL PUNCTURE NEEDLE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING PUNCTURE NEEDLE
A medical puncture needle includes: a distal end portion including a needle point; and a rod-like main body portion continuous with the distal end portion. The distal end portion includes a blade surface. The blade surface includes: a first blade surface portion on a front side of the distal end portion, the first blade surface portion being inclined with respect to a center axis of the main body portion and extending to the needle point, and a second blade surface portion on a back side of the distal end portion. When a virtual plane including the center axis of the main body portion is established, the second blade surface portion comprises a curved surface in which an angle with respect to the virtual plane in a cross section orthogonal to the center axis direction gradually increases toward the needle point side in the center axis direction.

FLUID DISPENSE TIPS
A fluid dispense tip includes a bevel at an opening to reduce the amount of surface tension, or land, at the opening. The bevel is formed by grinding in a longitudinal direction such that any tooling scars resulting from the grinding operation are likewise longitudinally oriented, further reducing the amount of surface tension in the tip, thereby leading to heightened dispensing accuracy. The tip may be machined from stock as a unitary piece, to increase its lifetime, and may be formed with a bore of a relatively large diameter that is tapered down to a smaller diameter near the tip opening, to allow for delivery of fluid through the tip body at a decreased pressure. A cleaning tool may be provided for removing residual material from the inner surfaces of the tip. A removable liner sleeve may be provided within the bore to reduce the effective inner diameter of the dispense tip.

MEDICAL SUTURE NEEDLE
The goal is to provide a medical suture needle having, as the material, austenite stainless steel with a structure that is elongated in a fiber form while improving the hardness and flexural strength of the cutting portion. A medical suture needle is made of austenite stainless steel having a structure that is elongated in fiber form, and has a cutting portion and a body portion with a triangular cross-sectional shape that is continuous with said cutting portion. The cutting portion has cutting edges, at least one surface of which is formed by a pressed surface, and which are formed by the intersection of said pressed surface with two sharpened surfaces, and a cutting edge that is formed by the intersection of the two sharpened surfaces. The tip where the various cutting edges and converge is positioned in the center of the pressed surface. Moreover, the cutting edges formed by the intersection of the above pressed surface with the two sharpened surfaces are longer than the cutting edge that is formed by the intersection of the two sharpened surfaces.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING BLANKS FOR ENDODONTIC INSTRUMENTS
The invention relates to a blank for an endodontic instrument, obtainable by machining at least one rod by means of wire erosion, preferably selected from the group consisting of electrical discharge machining, wire electrical discharge machining, electrical discharge grinding and electro-chemical machining, wherein an erosion pattern is applied to the at least one rod, wherein the blank has a homogenous hardness.
Electrode Grinding System
An electrode grinding system includes a vise that may be mounted to a support surface. A grinder is provided and a grinding wheel is rotatably coupled to the grinder. A guide is coupled to the grinder and the grinding wheel is positioned within the guide. The guide is positionable in the vise such that the grinding wheel is retained in a selected orientation. An electrode is provided and the electrode is positioned in a drill. The drill is positioned such that the electrode frictionally engages the grinding wheel. Thus, the grinding wheel shapes the electrode.
