POLISHING PAD CONDITIONING APPARATUS
A polishing pad conditioning apparatus according to an example embodiment of the present inventive concept includes an apparatus body, a pivot arm provided on the apparatus body and including a housing having an internal space and provided at a distal end portion of the pivot arm and a head unit disposed at the distal end portion of the pivot arm. The head unit includes: a rotary motor provided in the internal space of the housing, the rotary motor including a rotary shaft; a foreign material blocking member connected to the rotary shaft; a disk holder connected to the rotary shaft; and a conditioning disk coupled to the disk holder. The foreign material blocking member includes a fluid flow groove configured to guide a movement of fluid for preventing foreign objects from entering the housing on an outer surface of the foreign material blocking member.
POWER TOOL
A power tool includes a motor; a fan configured to be rotated by the motor to generate a cooling air; a housing accommodating therein the motor and the fan and defusing an air passage for the cooling air; an output shaft rotatable by the motor; and a transmission mechanism configured to transmit rotation of the motor to the output shaft. An end bit being attachable to and detachable from the output shaft. The transmission mechanism includes an intermediate shaft provided in the housing, a first belt transmitting a rotational force of the motor to the intermediate shaft, a second belt transmitting a rotational force of the intermediate shaft to the output shaft, and a rotation member transmitting a rotational force of the second belt to the output shaft. The first belt and the second belt are positioned inside a space through which the cooling air passes.
GRINDING DEVICE
The present invention relates to a grinding device for machining an, in particular plate-shaped workpiece (W). The grinding device comprises an emitter (31) for emitting electromagnetic waves in the direction of the abrasive belt (10) and a detector (32) for detecting electromagnetic waves which are reflected by the abrasive belt (10).

The present invention relates to a grinding device for machining an, in particular plate-shaped workpiece (W). The grinding device comprises an emitter (31) for emitting electromagnetic waves in the direction of the abrasive belt (10) and a detector (32) for detecting electromagnetic waves which are reflected by the abrasive belt (10).

An expandable handheld pneumatic belt grinder includes a body, an expansion component and an operation component. The body has a receiving space, a pneumatic motor, and a rotating wheel driven by the pneumatic motor. The expansion component has an expansion pipe and an expansion rod which are connected. The expansion rod is coupled to the receiving space. The operation component has a support rod with one end carrying a driven wheel and the other end coupled to the receiving space or expansion pipe. A grinding belt fits around the driven wheel and rotating wheel collectively. A user changes the distance between the rotating wheel and driven wheel by choosing between two options: coupling the support rod of operation component and the receiving space; and coupling the expansion rod of expansion component and the receiving space, and then coupling the support rod of operation component and the expansion pipe.

An expandable handheld pneumatic belt grinder includes a body, an expansion component and an operation component. The body has a receiving space, a pneumatic motor, and a rotating wheel driven by the pneumatic motor. The expansion component has an expansion pipe and an expansion rod which are connected. The expansion rod is coupled to the receiving space. The operation component has a support rod with one end carrying a driven wheel and the other end coupled to the receiving space or expansion pipe. A grinding belt fits around the driven wheel and rotating wheel collectively. SANDING MACHINE FOR THE SANDING/FINISHING PANELS MADE OF WOOD, METAL, OR THE LIKE
In a sanding machine for sanding/finishing panels made of wood, metal or the like, an abrasive belt is moved so as to cause it to come into contact with a panel by a plurality of thrust elements, which are distributed inside the abrasive belt, and are moved perpendicularly to the panel by respective actuator cylinders, each of which has an output rod which is moveable between a lowered operating position and a raised rest position under the thrust of a pressurised gas supplied in a continuous manner to an upper chamber of the actuator cylinder and in a selective manner to a lower chamber of the actuator cylinder itself.

A grinding or sanding machine for grinding or sanding a surface of a workpiece includes a transportation device for transporting a work piece, a revolving grinding or sanding belt, and at least one pressure beam for exerting a pressure toward the transportation device. A plate is provided that is movable in a plane perpendicular to the direction in which pressure is exerted. The plate is disposed between the belt and the pressure beam. A drive device randomly moves the plate in plate movement directions in terms of either or both direction and speed.

Method of removing hardbanding from pipe
The disclosure relates to a hardbanding removal apparatus and method for use with oilfield tubulars and downhole tools. The apparatus includes a tiltable frame with support arm, a grinding wheel coupled to the support arm, and an idler wheel assembly to supply mechanical feedback to the grinding wheel through the support arm. The mechanical feedback allows the grinding wheel to remove hardbanding accurately and uniformly on tubulars that are eccentric, curved, or have eccentric hardbanding. The tiltable frame enables grinding of tapered sections of the tubular without reorienting the tubular. The method includes removing hardbanding using the apparatus.
