A sleeping bag that provides a user a greater amount of room, on demand, within the interior of the sleeping bag by including at least one expandable panel. The expandable panel has an open position and a closed position. In the open position, the panel is expanded providing an increased girth and interior volume to the sleeping bag, compared to when the panel is closed. The expandable panel may have a reduced amount of insulation compared to the rest of the sleeping bag.

A sleeping bag includes a top cover and bottom sheet. The bottom sheet can be secured to a sleeping pad and includes a sheet portion and lateral flaps connected to the sheet portion along opposite lateral edges of the sleeping pad when the bottom sheet is secured thereto. The top cover and lateral flaps enable attachment, detachment, and reattachment of the lateral flaps along their lateral edges to a top cover outer surface along corresponding attachment paths displaced medially from top cover lateral edges, enabling a top cover headward portion to assume wrapped and expanded configurations, and enabling conversion between those configurations. When wrapped, headward portions of the top cover outer surface, that are lateral of the attachment paths, are positioned against the sheet portion; when expanded, the lateral flaps and lateral portions of the top cover extend upward or laterally away from the sleeping pad lateral edges.

A sleeping bag includes a top cover and bottom sheet. A swaddling blanket and pouch combination (SBPC) (10) that allows an infant to be comfortably and easily swaddled. The blanket (12) is comprised of a right blanket flap (28) and a left blanket flap (46) and includes a designated area to which is removably attached the pouch (70). The pouch features a lower end (78) which includes an opening and closing means that allows an infant's soiled diaper to be easily removed and replaced or to take a rectal temperature. The SBPC (10) is used by first placing the left blanket flap (46) over the pouch (70), which is then followed by placing the right blanket flap (28) over the pouch. The right and left blanket flaps (28,46) as well as the pouch (70) are preferably held in place by hook and loop fasteners (88).

Body compression sleepwear with a foot opening preferably includes a body portion and a neck portion. The body portion includes a first body sheet and a second body sheet. An outer perimeter of the first and second body sheets are sewn to each other with the exception of a straight end and a foot opening. The neck portion includes a first neck sheet and a second neck sheet. Opposing ends of the first and second neck sheets are sewn to each other to form the neck portion and an entrance opening. The neck portion is sewn to the straight end. The material of the body portion and the neck portion is preferably fabricated from a combination Polyester and Lycra fabric. The size of the compressive sleepwear is smaller than the user to exert compressive force on the outer surface of the user.

A swaddling apparatus is provided. The apparatus comprises a fabric container of size and dimensions to comfortably enclose a human below neck level. The apparatus also comprises a vertical zipper at a front area of the container, the zipper accessible from an interior area of the container. The apparatus also comprises slots below a shoulder area of the container, the slots enabling arms of a user to protrude externally from the container.

A novel mosquito shield for protection against mosquitos and other types of insects. The mosquito shield combines a protective netting with a memory foam material that provides comfort to the user/wearer. The memory foam, or alternative material, is connected to the mesh 5 in a square, waffle like, pattern to form the protective mosquito shield. The thickness of the memory foam creates distance between the protective netting and the user's skin. This then increases the effectiveness of the protective mosquito netting because the mosquito's proboscis (needle for sucking blood) can no longer reach the wearer's skin.

A novel mosquito shield for protection against mosquitos and other types of insects. An outdoor item such as a sleeping bag, jacket, hat or blanket with one or more ventilation/temperature adjustment openings. Each ventilation/temperature adjustment opening includes a fastening mechanism that when opened, an opening is formed in the outer layer and insulative material/layer of the sleeping bag but not in the inner layer, allowing the outdoor item to vent better, thereby cooling an occupant using or wearing the outdoor item thereby offering temperature regulation.

The invention relates to a bedding article for a baby, comprising a soft base (10) provided with an edge roll (20) secured to the base (10) and extending over at least part of the periphery thereof, said edge roll (20) being provided with a free end (25) that can be folded over onto the stomach of the baby. The edge roll (20) contains a tubular insert (30) having a complementary shape, which is designed to be heated and to progressively emit the heat received. The article also comprises a cloth for swaddling the baby and a cover (50). The cover is designed to partially cover at least the base and particularly the free end (25).
