Method for decoating a glass panel
When decoating a glass panel (3), a decoating tool (6) with a circular-cylindrical grinding element (8) is used, which element is set to rotate around its axis. In the end face of the grinding element (8) that is used when the active face (9) is decoated, a hole (10) and at least one radial groove (11) are provided. The decoating tool (6) is placed at a spot (A) on the glass panel (3) in a movement (arrow 13) that is oriented at an acute angle to the plane of the glass panel (3), which lies between the ends (B) and (C) of the strip-shaped decoating area (14) and moves first to the one end (B) (arrow 15) and then to the other end (C) (arrow 16) in order to strip coating from the glass panel (3) in the decoating area (14).
Substrate processing apparatus
A CMP apparatus includes a polishing unit 3, a cleaning unit 4, a load/unload unit 2, a transfer unit, and a control section 5 configured to control transfer of a substrate in the transfer unit. When the polishing unit includes a plurality of polishing sections, or the cleaning unit includes a plurality of cleaning sections, the control section 5 can set a test mode that operates the polishing section or the cleaning section for a test to some of the plurality of polishing sections, or some of the plurality of cleaning sections, causes a substrate to be transferred to the polishing section or the cleaning section to which the test mode is not set, and causes a test substrate different from the substrate to be transferred to the polishing section or the cleaning section to which the test mode is set.

Grinding wheel and cleaning method for grinding chamber
A grinding wheel includes an annular base and a plurality of abrasive members fixed to the lower surface of the base and arranged annularly. The base has a plurality of through holes for discharging a grinding water. The plural through holes radially extend from the inner side surface to the outer side surface of the base. The plural through holes are arranged at given intervals in the circumferential direction of the base so that the grinding water is scattered in different directions from the through holes.

Robot-Assisted Grinding Device having an Integrated Maintenance Unit
An apparatus for the robot-assisted machining of surfaces is described. In accordance with one embodiment, the device comprises the following: a support which can be mounted on a manipulator, a machining device with a tool (e.g. a grinding disc) and a linear actuator for adjusting the relative position of a tool in relation to the support. The apparatus further has a maintenance unit comprising a swiveling bracket. The bracket is swivel-mounted on the support such that, by swiveling the bracket, the maintenance unit can be positioned at least partially before the tool.
CUTTING TOOL
A cutting tool includes an electric motor supported by a housing, an accessory mounting portion including an output member connected to a saw blade, a transmission mechanism connecting the electric motor to the output member, a base plate disposed at the bottom of the housing and having a mounting hole for the saw blade to pass through, a battery pack interface configured to be detachably connected to a battery pack, a liquid storage system including a liquid storage device configured to store a liquid and detachably mounted on the housing, and a system control member disposed on a liquid flow path of the liquid storage system and used for controlling the flow state of the liquid in the liquid storage device. The electric motor is a brushless motor, and a rotational speed of the electric motor is not lower than 7000 revolutions per minute.
GRINDING APPARATUS
A grinding apparatus includes an ultrasonic cleaning unit. The ultrasonic cleaning unit includes a pair of side walls that surround the inside and the outside of a base and grindstones, a bottom surface that connects the pair of side walls, a jet port that is formed in at least either of the side walls or the bottom surface and that jets a cleaning liquid toward at least either of the base or the grindstones, a cleaning liquid supply section that supplies the cleaning liquid to the jet port; an ultrasonic vibrator that applies an ultrasonic wave to the cleaning liquid supplied from the cleaning liquid supply section, and an electric power supply section that applies electric power to the ultrasonic vibrator.
