Rust Inhibiting System and Method of Use
A rust inhibiting process 100 for cleaning and protecting a target object 902 is disclosed. Comprising mixing at least a rust inhibitor 620 and a fluid 618 into a slurry mixture 608, spraying the slurry mixture 608 at the target object 902 from within a reservoir 610 of a slurry blasting system 202, separating a tarnished top layer 906 and a parent metal 904 of the target object 902 with a slurry stream 908, cleaning the parent metal 904 with the rust inhibitor 620, preventing the parent metal 904 from impregnating with contaminants during cleaning with the rust inhibitor 620, and protecting the parent metal 904 with the rust inhibitor 620 after spraying is complete. The slurry stream 908 comprises the slurry mixture 608 of the slurry blasting system 202 being sprayed with the slurry blasting system 202. The slurry blasting system 202 comprises a tank 204.
Particle feeder
An apparatus is described which introduces cryogenic particles received from a source of particles, having a first pressure, into a moving transport fluid, having a second pressure, for ultimate delivery to a workpiece or target as particles entrained in a transport fluid flow which seals between the source of particles and the transport fluid flow.
SEPARATION DEVICE FOR COATING BLASTING AND COATING STRIPPING BOOTHS
A blasting or stripping booth is provided creating a generally downward flow for treatment of fluid and particle flow, which reduces operator exposure to potentially hazardous debris. The booth comprises an enclosure defining an upper region for a workpiece, a lower region, and a separator assembly. In some instances the separator assembly includes individual separator units which are discrete units, each having a generally square or rectangular plan view configuration which are arranged in an array for providing the required process flow capabilities. Further embodiments utilize structures forming the separator which have an elongated trough-like configuration. These embodiments find a particular application in large-scale stripping or blasting booth used in production environments where workpieces may flow through a treatment system in a serial manner. Other suitable applications include batch type processing of parts.
Method and apparatus for monitoring particle laden pneumatic abrasive flow in an abrasive fluid jet cutting system
An abrasive jet cutting system may include a differential pressure measurement apparatus configured to measure a differential pressure between points in an abrasive supply system. The differential pressure may be used to determine one or more conditions of the jet and the abrasive delivery. The measured differential pressure may be used in a feedback control system, feed forward control system, and/or an alarm or safety system.
REDUCED NOISE ABRASIVE BLASTING SYSTEMS
Reduced noise abrasive blasting assemblies and systems are described. The new assemblies and systems are comprised of standard blast hose, accelerator hose, couplings and nozzle. The improved abrasive blasting system maintains abrasive particle velocity while decreasing the exit gas velocity and consequently decreasing sound production. This is accomplished through an acceleration section with reduced inner diameter and sufficient length to provide the necessary abrasive particle velocity. The new system maintains the productivity and efficiency of conventional abrasive blasting systems but with greatly reduced acoustic noise production and reduces operator fatigue due to the lower weight of the carried portion of the system.
Cleaning Equipment for Use with Precipitator
Systems and methods for cleaning a precipitator including plates and wires associated therewith using dry ice blasting equipment are described. The dry ice blasting equipment primarily includes an elongate wand. The elongate wand is configured to blast dry ice at a high level of pressure to ensure that debris and biproduct that is caked or coated onto the plates and wires is disengaged from the plates and wires. For instance, the dry ice may be blasted at pressures of at least 100 pounds per square inch, and more preferably at least 400 pounds per square inch. To achieve this pressure, the wand may be at least 2 feet in length, and more preferably at least 6 feet in length.
High-pressure waterjet cutting head systems, components and related methods
A waterjet cutting method is provided which includes directing a waterjet onto a surface of a workpiece that is exposed to the surrounding atmosphere, the interaction of the waterjet with the exposed surface defining a cutting location, and simultaneously directing a gas stream onto the exposed surface of the workpiece at or adjacent the cutting location to maintain a cutting environment at the cutting location that is, apart from the waterjet, substantially devoid of fluid or particulate matter. The method may further include moving a source of the waterjet relative to the workpiece to cut the workpiece along a desired path while continuously directing the gas stream onto the exposed surface of the workpiece at or adjacent the cutting location.
Air Circulation Type of Easily Dried Intelligent Household Stuffed Toy Cleaning Machine
The invention relates to an air circulation type of easily dried intelligent household stuffed toy cleaning machine which includes a cleaning main body and a drawing bracket. The cleaning main body includes an outer casing, an inner casing, a sand blowing device, a sand removing device, a dehumidifying device, a controller and a guiding plate. The drawing bracket includes a door panel and a support frame having a C-shaped structure. The support frame extends into the inner casing. The door panel abuts the outer casing and the door panel and the inner casing enclose to form a closed inner cavity with annular inner wall. The support frame is further provided with a vibration motor, an extension clamp, and a vibration rod.
