The Porter Air Touch is a wireless powered LED drinking glass with internal LED lights that emits light but does not require internal batteries. The drinking glass internal LED lights receive energy via a large flat surface that emits an electromagnetic field. The electromagnetic field emitted from the two inductive plates permeates through a non-conductive barrier that reaches the bottom of the LED drinking glass. Two metallic drinking glass aluminum contact plates along the bottom of the LED drinking glasses absorb the electromagnetic energy from the inductive plates and powers the LED lights wirelessly.

The oxidation layer structure is formed on one part of a surface of the titanium substrate corresponding to the contact portion. The titanium substrate is made of titanium in α phase, and the oxidation layer structure is a titanium dioxide film in a rutile crystalline form. The oxidation layer structure has a roughened surface and an oxygen diffusion layer formed at an interface of the oxidation layer structure and the titanium substrate.

A self-heating container assembly has a housing with a first portion and a second portion, each having a cylindrical cross-section. The first portion and the second portion are mated together in a manner that permits the first portion to rotate about a common axis relative to the second portion. A ring gear (or partial ring gear) is on or attached to the first portion and rotates with the first portion of the housing relative to the second portion. A rotatable cutting element is supported by a support connected to the second portion of the housing. There is a pinion gear on the rotatable cutting element. The pinion gear is coupled to the ring gear. A reactant container containing a reactant is adjacent to the rotatable cutting element, such that rotation thereof cuts into the reactant container.
