SKATE BLADE SHARPENING SYSTEM
A skate blade grinding system used to sharpen and profile the blades of ice skates. The skate blade grinding system can include a housing that includes an elongated slot for receiving the blade of an ice skate for sharpening, and clamp jaws for retaining the skate. The skate blade grinding system can automatically operate a grinding wheel and move the rotating grinding wheel back and forth along the lower face of the skate blade to grind the skate blade.
Abrasive article
An abrasive article has an abrasive portion with an organic bond and abrasive particles. The abrasive article has a non-abrasive portion (NAP) mounted to the abrasive portion. The NAP includes molding compound (MC) having chopped strand fibers (CSF). The CSF can be coated with a thermoplastic coating having a loss on ignition (LOI) of at least about 2.4 wt %, and the NAP having no abrasive particles. The NAP can include an MC having no abrasive particles with a MOHS scale hardness of at least about 9. The NAP may include CSF coated with a primary coating and a secondary coating on the primary coating. The NAP may have an outer diameter that is at least half of but not greater than an outer diameter of the abrasive article.

Grinding wheel with identification tag
A grinding wheel assembly for use in a sharpening system includes a grinding wheel configured to be mounted in the sharpening system to carry out sharpening operations in which the grinding wheel removes material from a blade to be sharpened, such as the blade of an ice skate. The grinding wheel assembly further includes an identification tag attached to the grinding wheel, the identification tag having (1) secure memory including a usage location for persistently and securely storing a usage tracking value, and (2) interface circuitry for engaging in communication with a transceiver of the sharpening system to enable electronic circuitry of the sharpening system to both read from and write to the usage location to track usage of the grinding wheel for sharpening operations. The memory may also store other data including user-specific system parameters usable to customize operation, and fault information usable to diagnose fault conditions.
Blade dicing device for wafers
Provided is a blade dicing device for wafers that cuts (dices) a wafer with the grit on a cutting blade and separates the wafer into individual chips, and that can minimize process defects when dicing compound semiconductor wafers made of high-hardness materials such as SiC. The device includes a body, a cutting blade protruding from the outer periphery of the body, and grit bonded and attached to the outer periphery of the cutting blade and cutting a wafer, wherein the length of the grit is 2 m to 4 m.
LATHE ADAPTER ASSEMBLY FOR DENTAL POLISHING
A lathe adaptor assembly for mounting at least one polishing wheel to a spindle of a dental lathe. The lathe adaptor assembly comprises a first retention bolt with a hollow interior, a hollow bolt head, a reinforced internal structure, and an exteriorly-threaded end for engaging the spindle to secure the lathe adaptor assembly, a second retention bolt also featuring a hollow interior and an exteriorly-threaded end, and a center carrier equipped with a central throughbore designed to mount a first polishing wheel and a second polishing wheel, each secured by friction to prevent rotation on the center carrier.
