Quick attachment abrasive assembly for power concrete treating machines
For use with a power trowel, an abrasive assembly attachable to a rotatable arm of the power trowel that comprises a circular, rigid plate having a central hub projecting out from a first major surface and affixed to its second major surface is a ring of a resilient material. Adjacent the resilient ring is a molded plastic ring in which a plurality of permanent magnet members are imbedded at regularly spaced intervals. The plastic ring further includes at least, one boss projecting outward from a surface thereof and designed to fit within an aperture disposed in an outermost ring, which is entirely or partially of a ferrous metal and which carries a plurality of abrasive members on its outer surface. The resilient ring is fastened to the rigid plate by internally threaded tubular pins and the plastic ring is secured by screws that pass through the plastic ring into the lumens of the internally threaded tubular pins.
Device for sharpening and method for operating the device
A device for sharpening edges of knives or other cutting tools with preferably a non-linear course has a mount for fixing the knife, at least one measuring device and at least one grinder. In a method of operating this device, a knife is clamped in a mount and initially the course of the edge by comparison with a predetermined cam disc is determined and then a difference from the predetermined cam disc profile is calculated on that basis and the sharpening process correspondingly regulated.

Roughing grinding tool
A roughing grinding tool has a supporting body and at least one abrasive circle. The supporting body includes an abrasive grain for roughing grinding. The supporting body serves to support the at least one abrasive circle and itself for roughing grinding. The roughing grinding tool is easy to produce and robust and has a high removal capacity in conjunction with a long service life.

TOOL FOR SANDING AND BUFFING AND METHOD OF USE
The present disclosure relates to a tool for sanding and buffing an irregularly shaped surface that includes a head having a rounded surface, a first abrasive material adapted for sanding or buffing, the first abrasive material attached to the rounded surface via an adhesive substance or other attaching means and at least partially covering the rounded surface, and a handle attached to the head. The tool may further include a second abrasive material attached to the rounded surface via the adhesive substance or other attaching means that at least partially covers a portion of the rounded surface not covered by the first abrasive material. If the first and second abrasive materials have varying properties such as their coarseness, the user may find each material to be especially efficient for use in separate sanding, buffing, or polishing processes.
Tool Device for a Hand-Held Power Tool
A tool device for a hand-held power tool, which can be operated such that the tool device is rotated about an output shaft of a tool-holding device, has at least one connecting device, which is detachably connected to an output shaft of the power tool. The connecting device is fastened to the tool-holding device so that a drive axis of the output shaft and a tool axis of rotation substantially coincide. The connecting device has a cut-out and at least one clamping wing, which at least partly bounds the cut-out in the radial direction of the tool axis of rotation and which is bounded substantially in the direction radial to the tool axis of rotation by a first bounding edge, which lies on a first bounding circle around the tool axis of rotation. The clamping wing extends at least substantially along a plane orthogonal to the tool axis of rotation.
CUTTING APPARATUS
A cutting apparatus includes: a processing feeding unit that performs processing feeding of a chuck table adapted to hold a workpiece; and two cutting units in which rotational axes of two spindles coincide with each other and cutting blades mounted to the spindles face each other. Each cutting unit includes a flange mechanism in which the cutting blade having a cutting edge fixed to an outer peripheral edge of a one-side outer surface of a circular disk-shaped base is fixed to the spindle. The flange mechanism is fixed to a tip of the spindle, sucks an other-side outer surface of the base of the cutting blade, and fixes the cutting blade to the spindle with the one-side outer surface of the base exposed to the side of the tip of the spindle, and the one-side outer surfaces of the cutting blades fixed to the two cutting units.
CARRIER BODY FOR GRINDING TOOLS
A carrier body for grinding tools has an inner hub ring which surrounds a central bore for connecting the grinding tool to a rotary drive, and an jacket ring for receiving a grinding means, in particular in the form of a galvanic coating, a grinding ring, or a plurality of grinding segments. The hub ring and the jacket ring are connected to one another by several webs, which are spaced apart from one another, and the webs each have at least one recess.
