DEPRESSED CENTER GRINDING WHEEL
A depressed center grinding wheel comprises an abrasive disc. The abrasive disc comprises a working layer, an intermediate layer, a back layer, and at least two reinforcing scrims. The working layer comprises first abrasive particles retained in a first binder material. The first abrasive particles include from 40 to 100 weight percent of first shaped abrasive particles. The back layer comprises second abrasive particles retained in a second binder material. The second abrasive particles include first crushed abrasive particles and are essentially free of shaped abrasive particles. The intermediate layer is disposed between the working layer and the back layer. The intermediate layer comprises third abrasive particles retained in a third binder material. The third abrasive particles include 25 to 75 weight percent of second shaped abrasive particles.
POLISHING PAD OF A HAND-HELD POWER TOOL AND POWER TOOL WITH SUCH A POLISHING PAD
The invention refers to a polishing pad (11) adapted for being detachably attached to a bottom surface (9a) of a plate-like backing pad (9) of a hand-held power tool (1). The backing pad (9) is actuated by an electric or pneumatic motor of the hand-held power tool (1), in order to perform a purely rotating, a random orbital or a roto-orbital working movement. The polishing pad (11) comprises a bottom working surface (11b) facing a workpiece to be polished during intended use of the power tool (1). It is suggested that the bottom working surface (11b) has at least two pieces (12, 13) of polishing material with different characteristics. A bottom working surface (13b) of at least one of the pieces (13) of the polishing pad (11) having a first characteristic extends beyond a bottom working surface (12b) of at least another of the pieces (12) of the polishing pad (11) having a different second characteristic. (FIG. 2)
Grinding wheel
A grinding wheel includes a disc-like member and a grinding stone layer disposed on an outer peripheral surface of the disc-like member. A grinding surface of the grinding stone layer includes a cylinder grinding surface, end grinding surfaces, and corner grinding surfaces. The grinding stone layer includes a cylindrical-portion grinding stone layer including a part of the corner grinding surfaces and the cylinder grinding surface, and end grinding stone layers including the remaining part of the respective corner grinding surfaces and the respective end grinding surfaces and having a property different from a property of the cylindrical-portion grinding stone layer. Joint surfaces are each formed by joining a boundary surface of the cylindrical-portion grinding stone layer and a boundary surface of the end grinding stone layer such that the boundary surfaces have a preset inclination to an axis of rotation.

Multi-Functional Debur Tool
A system and method for a composite finishing system. The composite finishing system comprises an abrasive bit with an abrasive material on a removal surface of the abrasive bit, where in the abrasive bit has a pilot structure that positions an abrasive surface relative to an edge break intersection of a hole in a composite structure when a pilot structure is placed into the hole.
Grinding wheel
A grinding wheel used for grinding of a work piece is provided. The grinding wheel includes a circular disc-shaped base having a fixed end surface in contact with a mount of grinding apparatus and a free end surface on the opposite side to the fixed end surface, and plural abrasive stone chips arranged in a ring manner on the free end surface of the base. The abrasive stone chips are each formed into a block shape having a surface in which two or more kinds of plate-shaped abrasive stone members containing abrasive grains and a binder are exposed to the outside by overlapping the two or more kinds of abrasive stone members. The surfaces exposed to the outside in the abrasive stone chips serve as grinding processing surfaces that get contact with the work piece.

INTELLIGENT POLISHER/BUFFER WITH SELECTIVE COLOR-MATCHING LIGHT
An improved buffer/polisher for treated painted surfaces, including painted cars, automobiles, vehicles and the like, including surfaces with state-of-the-art, hardened coats of paint or finish, includes built-in source of illumination, disposed on the housing, direct light downwardly and toward the work surface. The source of illumination emits light with a color temperature above 4500 degrees Kelvin, more preferably at 5000 degrees Kelvin or greater. Even more preferably, the source of illumination is switchable to include light with a color temperature including 5000 degrees Kelvin (mimicking daylight at 10-11 am) and 6500K (mimicking daylight at 12 noon). The source of illumination may comprise one or more LEDs, and the polishing pad may assume a random orbital motion.
