A plurality of video image frames are selected from the scene. Then, 3D model data of the physical object of interest is generated based on at least the selected video image frames of the scene.

A grinding plate for a grinding disk of a grinding machine, wherein the grinding plate has a basic body and a Velcro hook layer with Velcro hooks. The basic body of the grinding plate includes a fiber-reinforced plastic and the Velcro hook layer comprises a nonreinforced plastic. A method for producing such a grinding plate is also provided. The Velcro hook layer can be molded as a thin layer of nonreinforced plastic onto the basic body made of a fiber-reinforced plastic. The grinding plate can be produced in particular in a two-component injection molding method.
