ATTACHMENT HUB, BACKUP PAD, AND ABRASIVE DISC
The present invention relates to an attachment hub for attachment to a sander, comprising a quick-release attachment assembly configured for releasable and aligned engagement with a counterpart of a backup pad particularly for an abrasive disc. Furthermore, the invention relates to a backup pad having a disc-like shape and comprising a first major surface and a second major surface, the first major surface configured for direct or indirect attachment of an abrasive disc, and the second major surface configured for facing towards an attachment hub for attachment to a sander, and a mounting portion for aligned engagement with an attachment hub of a sander.
Abrasive Mop and A Method for Producing Such An Abrasive Mop
An abrasive mop is proposed which comprises a tube-like carrier element and is characterized by at least two annular abrasive mop segments, which are slid onto the carrier element and are connected to the carrier element by a connective medium.
Bayonet coupling and machining unit with such bayonet coupling
A bayonet coupling for mounting of a tool on a drive shaft of a machining unit. The drive shaft is connected to the tool via a bayonet coupling, which includes two coupling parts. The one coupling part is provided with a receiving groove for an engaging tab placed on the other coupling part. The receiving groove has a first section with an extension parallel to the axis of rotation and the second section of the receiving groove has an extension transverse, perpendicular, to the axis of rotation, so that the tool is driven via the engagement of the bayonet coupling.
Centering Post Assembly
A centering post assembly includes an adapter that has a coupling section, a receiver section and a disk section extending between the coupling section and the receiver section. The coupling section has a pre-determined diameter for inserting into a bolt hole in a backing plate of an angled power tool. The receiver section has a pre-determined diameter for inserting into a center hole of a polishing pad thereby facilitating the polishing pad to be centered on the backing plate. The disk section is strategically positioned between the coupling section and the receiver section to extend a pre-determined distance into the bolt hole in the backing plate.

POLISHING BRUSH AND POLISHING METHOD
A polishing brush (1) includes a rod-shaped member (2) and a grinding element bundle (4) formed of a plurality of wire-shaped grinding elements (3). The rod-shaped member (2) has a holding hole (6) at a front portion (2a) to hold the grinding element bundle (4). The holding hole (6) has a bottom face (7) and a sleeve-shaped peripheral wall (8) extending from the bottom face (7) in an inclination direction (S). The grinding element bundle (4) has a seated portion (4a) seated in the holding hole (6) and a protruding portion (4b) protruding from an opening (6a) of the holding hole (6) in the inclination direction (S). The tip end of the protruding portion (4b) is located on the outside of the rod-shaped member (2) when viewed from the axis (L0) direction.
DISC FOR GRINDER AND METHOD OF CONSTRUCTION
The method is for producing a disk of the type having a central hub surrounded by an abrasive material, the hub having an aperture of the type provided in abrasive discs sold by Robert Bosch GmbH under the trademark X-LOCK, the method comprising the steps: positioning a metal hub against an abrasive disc, the metal hub having an annular portion and a plurality of tabs, the annular portion defining an aperture of the type provided in abrasive discs sold by Robert Bosch GmbH under the trademark X-LOCK and the plurality of tabs protruding from the annular portion, against an abrasive disc, the abrasive disc having a central void, and the positioning being such that the metal hub occludes the central void and the tabs protrude through the disc; and bending the tabs such that the abrasive disc is gripped between the annular portion and the tabs.
PIPE CLEANING TOOL
A pipe cleaning tool is provided. A pipe cleaning tool, for preparing an exterior surface of a pipe and an interior surface of a fitting for joining the pipe to the fitting, comprising a central tubular member having a coupling member optionally coupled to a rotary tool. An interior pipe cleaner having a first polishing means surrounding an exterior of the interior pipe cleaner, the interior pipe cleaner coupled to a first end of the central tubular member and a tubular exterior pipe cleaner having a second polishing means surrounding an interior of an opened end of the tubular exterior pipe cleaner, the tubular exterior pipe cleaner coupled to a second end of the central tubular member.
