A media-bearing polisher and restorer removes surface and subsurface contaminants from a vehicle, household or other surface. The media-bearing polisher and restorer comprises an ovoid body with a planar bottom. The body comprises a resilient or rigid material and one or more flutes for receiving one or more user fingers. A permeable elastic medium is removably attached to the planar bottom of the body, which absorbs and extracts contaminants from the surface. A variety of media can be used with the media-bearing polisher and restorer.

The sanding material forms a sanding surface for the device. The sanding material moves relative to the frame through contact between the sanding surface and the work piece.

A glove and sandpaper assembly for performing sanding work while wearing a glove includes a glove which has a plurality of fingers and a thumb which can be worn on a user's hand. A first mating unit is attached to the glove and the first mating unit extends along each of the plurality of fingers and the thumb. A sheet of sandpaper has a plurality of peninsulas each extending away from a central portion of the sheet of sandpaper. A second mating unit is bonded to the sheet of sandpaper and the second mating unit is releasably matable to the first mating unit. In this way the sandpaper is attached to the glove to facilitate the user to perform sanding work while wearing the glove.

Embodiments of sanding systems and methods for using and making the same may include providing a sanding system, comprising a body and a core. The body may be defined by at least a plurality of faces including a proximal face and a distal face and further defined by a hole extending lengthwise from the proximal face at least partially through the body toward the distal face. The core may be configured to be disposed at least partially within the hole such that changing an extent to which the core is disposed within the hole changes a density gradient of the sanding system.

Embodiments of sanding systems and methods for using and making the same may include providing a sanding system, comprising a body and a core. The body may be defined by at least a plurality of faces including a proximal face and a distal face and further defined by a hole extending lengthwise from the proximal face at least partially through the body toward the distal face. The core may be configured to be disposed at least partially within the hole such that changing an extent to which the core is disposed within the hole changes a density gradient of the sanding system.

An elastomeric sanding block conformable to curved or flat surfaces includes a Shore A hardness ranging fro m about 30 to about 90, and is made from ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, low-density polyethylene or an admixture thereof. The polymer or admixture ranges from about 35 to about 70 percent of the sanding block composition by weight. A blowing agent is present in an amount that ranges from about 1.5 to about 4.5 percent of the composition by weight. The elastomeric sanding block may be formed by combining the polymer or admixture and other components under heat to yield a feedstock, thermoforming the feedstock in a mold to yield a foamed material sheet, and cutting the foamed material sheet.

A deburring tool for removing scuffs, scratches and burrs from golf balls. The tool includes a circular, planar top portion with a rim around the perimeter thereof and a sidewall that is connected to the perimeter that extends therefrom in an outward and flared manner. The sidewall provides a top and a bottom, wherein the top and the bottom provide a circular perimeter. The bottom of the sidewall has a beveled edge adapted to fit the contours and curvatures of a golf ball and can be placed thereon for the removal of scuffs, scratches and burrs therefrom. A loop is connected to the perimeter of the planar top portion through which a chain can be inserted thereto for attachment to a purse, bag and the like. The planar top portion and sidewall form a unitary structure defining an interior volume having an open bottom.
