For instance, the devices and techniques can be used for smoothing and preparing the surfaces of concrete (and other material) surfaces and edges to improve them for use with a skateboard. The tools can include a brick tool, a broom tool, and an adjustable handle, and a tool set can include at least one of each.

The perimeter portion includes a channel configured to receive a bristle ring.
