Work surface
A work surface is provided. More particularly, a work surface that is portable, and that when deployed provides a relatively stable platform is disclosed. The work surface includes a horizontal clamp track running parallel to a top surface, and one or more vertical tracks running parallel to the legs of the work surface. The horizontal track is configured to receive one or more clamps that can be used to secure a workpiece against a side of the work surface. The vertical tracks are configured to receive a support block, which can be used to support a workpiece along a side of the work surface.
Precision locating fastening device
A precision locating fastening device for securing a part. The device includes a drive screw, a base member, and a stop member. The drive screw has a gripping surface. The base member houses the drive screw and has a precision locating surface. The part is retained and located adjacent the precision locating surface relative to a fixture plate. The drive screw has one or more keyed ends. The stop member is replaceable to maintain precision and accuracy while locating and retaining the part. The device is incorporated in a system where a first keyed end of a first fastening device, a second key of the first fastening device, or the keyed end of a drive screw of a second fastening device is adjusted from either the first side of the fixture plate, the second side of fixture plate, or both to retain and locate the part on the fixture plate.
Dual side acting hydraulic grips synchronization
A synchronized gripping mechanism is provided which includes coupled slider-crank mechanisms. The coupled mechanisms each include a sliding grip and an intermediate link connected by a pivotal connector. A coupler link is provided on a stationary pivot and which couples and synchronizes the two slider-crank mechanisms. Overload protection structure is provided to prevent damaging the links if one of the sliding grips encounters an off-center specimen.

VISE
A vise for holding a workpiece that allows multiple workpieces to be clamped side-by-side and provides machining clearances between the workpieces, the vise having a vise base and at least one truck operable to move in a longitudinal direction relative to the vise base; the vise further including at least one jaw that is securable relative to the at least one truck, that at least one jaw having a first workpiece support surface extending in a first plane and a second workpiece support surface extending in a second plane wherein the first plane is at a different angle than the second plane.
VISE

CLAMPING DEVICE FOR A SAMPLE PREPARATION
The clamping device according to the invention for clamping at least two processing devices for a sample preparation is made up essentially of at least three clamping blocks arranged in the axial direction, at least two of which are designed as movable clamping blocks, and a displacement mechanism for displacing the movable clamping blocks between an open position for inserting the processing devices, and a clamping position in which the at least two processing devices are clamped one on top of the other in the axial direction between two clamping blocks in each case. The displacement mechanism is designed for displacing the at least two movable clamping blocks in opposite directions.

Clamping or gripping device with a main body, with guide portions provided on the main body, with jaws which are movable along the guide portions in a direction of movement, which can be moved between an inner stroke position and an outer end-of-stroke position, the jaws each having a row-of-teeth portion with, in each case, a length extending in the direction of movement, and with multiple pinions, the axes of rotation of which lie in a plane lying parallel to the respective row-of-teeth portions, the pinions interacting with the respective row-of-teeth portion to drive the jaws.
Vise
The present invention relates to a novel vise that operates in both a threaded and unthreaded mode. The vise includes a fixed block, a movable head, a rod, a ratchet mechanism, a threaded mechanism and a toggle mechanism. In the threaded mode, the movable head may only be moved by rotating the rod. In the unthreaded mode, the movable head may only be moved by applying force to the movable head in the desired direction of movement.
Vise
The present invention relates to a novel vise that operates in both a threaded and unthreaded mode. The vise includes a fixed block, a movable head, a rod, a ratchet mechanism, a threaded mechanism and a toggle mechanism. In the threaded mode, the movable head may only be moved by rotating the rod. In the unthreaded mode, the movable head may only be moved by applying force to the movable head in the desired direction of movement.
