WORKPIECE CLAMPING DEVICE
20210220967 · 2021-07-22 ·

A workpiece clamping device having a first base body on which a first clamping body is slidably supported in a clamping direction, as well as a second base body on which a second clamping body is slidably supported in the clamping direction. The two clamping bodies are in engagement with a threaded spindle. A contact surface is provided on each base body on the side that faces the other base body respectively. The contact surfaces are arranged with base body distance in the clamping direction. A centering body of the threaded spindle has centering surfaces that abut at one assigned contact surface respectively in order to position the threaded spindle in clamping direction without clearance as far as possible.

Workpiece clamping device with coupling body between clamping body and threaded spindle
20210220966 · 2021-07-22 ·

A workpiece clamping device having at least one base body. A first clamping body and a second clamping body are movably supported on the at least one base body in a clamping direction. A threaded spindle extends along a spindle longitudinal axis. The spindle longitudinal axis is orientated in clamping direction. It has a first thread section for the first clamping body and a second thread section for the second clamping body. A first coupling body has a first counter thread portion and a second coupling body has a second counter thread portion. In a coupling position the counter thread portions are in engagement with the assigned thread section respectively. In a decoupling position the counter thread portion is disengaged from the assigned thread section. In this decoupling position a movement of the clamping bodies is possible without rotation of the threaded spindle.

AUTOMATED SMART VISE SYSTEM

An automated vise is disclosed. A gross moveable jaw drive has a stroke longer than the stroke of a fine moveable jaw drive. With this construction, the gross moveable jaw drive can be utilized to actuate the one or more moveable jaws of the vise over a distance greater than the fine moveable jaw drive stroke to a position in which actuation of the fine moveable jaw drive is capable of positioning the one or more moveable jaws in a clamp position to apply pressure to hold the workpiece for machining by, e.g., a CNC machine. In this way, the automated vise can account for workpieces of differing size.

A positioning structure of a clamper of a threading machine for a racket contains: a rack, an engagement protrusion, an operation member, and two springs. A fixing holder is erected on a support plate of the threading machine, and the rack includes multiple first teeth, the fixing holder includes an accommodation chamber with an opening. The engagement protrusion is received in the accommodation chamber and includes a toothed extension on which multiple second teeth are formed. The engagement protrusion further includes a recess and an abutting fence. The operation member includes a drive portion and a push portion. The two springs are mounted on a top of the engagement protrusion, and two ends of each spring abut against the engagement protrusion and the fixing holder respectively so that each spring forces the engagement protrusion to engage with the rack.
