Cooling clamp
A cooling clamp is operable to hold coolant and an item in proximity to one another and includes a pair of relatively shiftable jaws and a receptacle mounted to at least one of the jaws. The jaws are shiftable into and out of a closed position, with the jaws being configured to receive at least a portion of the item therebetween and apply a clamping pressure to the item when in the closed position. The receptacle is mounted to at least one of the jaws and presents a chamber to receive the coolant. The receptacle includes an exposed wall section that defines in part the chamber and is configured to contact the item when the jaws are in the closed position, with the exposed wall section thereby serving as a direct thermal conductor between the item and the coolant.

HOLDING APPARATUS FOR HOLDING IN A ROTATABLE MANNER A PIPE WHICH IS TO BE MACHINED
A holding apparatus for holding a workpiece, which has a round and/or tubular cross section and is to be machined, in such a way that, in the held state, the workpiece can be rotated in relation to the holding apparatus, having at least two clamping arms, which are mounted in a pivotable manner on a base part and by means of which a clamping force can be exerted onto the workpiece, and having an adjustment mechanism for the clamping arms. Provision is made for the adjustment mechanism to have at least two drivers which are guided in a straight line, it being possible for the clamping arms to be pivoted or the clamping arms being pivoted toward one another by virtue of the movement of the drivers, wherein the drivers are arranged in a manner situated one behind the other as seen transversely in relation to the direction of movement of the drivers. In addition or as an alternative, provision is made for the adjustment mechanism to have a threaded spindle which can be manually operated and/or can be operated by an auxiliary force and which is in detachable threaded engagement with a threaded part, wherein the threaded part is, in the axial direction of the threaded spindle, held fixed in position in relation to the base part on a component of the holding apparatus, in particular on the base part. The invention further comprises an apparatus for machining a workpiece which has a round and/or tubular cross section, the apparatus containing a holding apparatus for the workpiece.
Twin clamp device
A twin clamp comprising a first individual clamp, having an inner first clamping jaw and an outer first clamping jaw, a second individual clamp, having an inner second clamping jaw and an outer second clamping jaw. The individual clamps are coupled to one another via a first mounted clamping lever and a second mounted clamping lever. The first clamping lever is connected to the inner first clamping jaw and to the outer first clamping jaw; the second clamping lever is connected to the inner second clamping jaw and to the outer second clamping jaw, and comprising a first spring which pushes apart the inner first clamping jaw and the outer first clamping jaw counter to force exerted by the first clamping lever, and a second spring, which pushes apart the inner second clamping jaw and the outer second clamping jaw counter to force exerted by the second clamping lever.

Clamp
Embodiments generally relate to a clamp. In one embodiment, the clamp includes a bar, and a first jaw, movable along the bar and positioned on a first side of the bar. The clamp also includes a second jaw positioned on the bar on a second side of the bar, opposite the first side. The clamp also includes an actuator for moving the first jaw toward the second jaw for clamping one or more workpieces, and the actuator includes one or more drive plates operatively coupled to the bar when the first jaw is in a driving mode.
