20240157492 · 2024-05-16 ·

A holding device (100) for a cylindrical blank (200), including a cylindrical recess (103) for inserting the blank (200); and a straight slot (105) intersecting the cylindrical recess (103) beyond the central point.

Cylinder block fixture

A cylinder block fixture for securing a workpiece is disclosed. The cylinder block fixture includes a base and clamping members. The clamping members are positioned apart at a distance facing each other on the base. Each of the clamping members includes a support plate at one end and a hand wheel at another end. Each of the support plates comprises a shaft, support bars, and support rods facing the opposite clamping member. The support rods extend from the support bars. The shafts at the support plates receive a camshaft housing of a workpiece. The workpiece includes a cylinder block. The support rods secure the workpiece. The hand wheel rotates and causes the workpiece to rotate. The workpiece rotates to align and take reference from a main bore or a pan rail surface of the workpiece to perform machining operations on the workpiece.

Cable harnessing fixture

In one example in accordance with the present disclosure, a fixture comprises a first frame horizontally oriented relative to a second frame. The first frame may be coupled to a member adjustable along a first plane. The fixture may also comprise a plurality of lifts, coupled to the member. The plurality of lifts may be adjustable along a second plane that is vertical in relation to the first frame. The fixture may also comprise the second frame vertically oriented relative to the first frame and coupled to the first frame. The second frame may be configured to accept a template for receiving a cable.

Flange removal tool assembly

A flange removal tool assembly includes a cutting tool actuator, vise, annular cutting tool, and center support and accurately removes a weld and a flange of a device, while the device is attached to a fitting in a pressure vessel. Once the weld and the flange are removed, the device can be removed from the fitting and replaced. The assembly allows the operator to quickly inspect the flange of the device during the removal process and reduces the probability of damaging a flange of the fitting.

Mountable Support And Vice Device And Method Of Use

A mountable support and vice device for field use in small work areas includes a fastener, which is attached to a first terminus of a rod. The fastener is selectively attachable to an element of a structure, such as a scaffold, to removably attach the rod to the element of the structure. A pipe is nested around the rod so that the pipe is selectively extensible from, and selectively rotatable relative to, the rod. A coupler attached to the pipe and is positioned to selectively couple to the rod so that the pipe is fixedly positioned relative to the rod and the element of the structure. A vice is attached to the pipe proximate to a first end of the pipe and can selectively grip a substrate, such as a pipe elbow. The substrate thus is fixedly positioned and can be manipulated by a user.
