A disposal food handling finger tongs or hand coverings for grasping food or other objects. The pockets or finger stalls are connected by at least one connecting tab. At least one functional finger/thumb accommodation area is presented and at least one finger/thumb stability is optionally provided. The disposable tongs or hand coverings provide protection to the user by providing freely extending, unbonded, soft irregular peripheral edges help prevent paper cuts. If both the front and back of pockets or hand coverings are messy, optionally the tongs or hand coverings can be torn, and folded over the back and/or front of the messy pockets, thereby keeping the hands, fingers and/or thumb of the user clean during disposal.

A feeding aid for promoting use of hands to eat, comprising: a hollow receptacle formed of a non-toxic and food safe material that is at least partially deformable and adapted to store food and/or frozen liquid consumables; an access portion that is partially open when the receptacle is in an undeformed state and which, in response to the receptacle being deformed by a user, is configured to open further to thereby allow access to the stored consumables, and to assist in turning the receptacle at least partially inside out for cleaning.

A rigid food pouch container developed to accommodate prepared food packaged in soft containers is designed to prevent a child from squeezing the container and causing its contents to spurt from the container. A food handling device includes a holder having an interior chamber extending along a longitudinal axis, and an extension housing detachably mounted on the holder and having an interior compartment for receiving and for holding the foodstuff.
