Modular jig and fixture systems and methods
Jigs and fixtures for aligning, guiding, and/or holding a workpiece on woodworking machinery during a woodworking operation are described, as well as methods of making, modifying, and using jigs and fixtures.
LOW COST, HIGH PERFORMANCE, MULTI-HEAD DRILL AND FILL MACHINE
A manufacturing system employing a bifurcated backbone having an upper plate and lower plate, with a longitudinal slot between the upper and lower plate. A plurality of actuator groups are mounted longitudinally adjacent the slot. A carrier supports a panel for longitudinal translation into the slot and the carrier is configured to pulse longitudinally in the slot relative to the plurality of actuator groups during a sequence of fabrication operations by the plurality of actuator groups on the panel.
Clamping device for joining boards
A clamping device is used for joining panels or boards with highly cosmetic appearance at the visible joined surface. The clamping device can include mechanisms to support and move one panel relative to another panel in two directions perpendicular to the beveled edges of the panels. The clamping device can include a rotational mechanism to rotate one panel around a direction parallel to the beveled edge.
Coping sled with improved hold down clamp
A coping sled with improved hold down clamp for clamping a piece of wood while cutting the piece of wood with a cutting tool. More specifically, the coping sled of the present invention provides various systems to eliminate unintended movement and facilitate different types of intended movement: lateral, horizontal, vertical, and pivotal.
MODULAR MACHINE TOOL WORK HOLDING COMPONENTS
A workholding clamp for securing a workpiece to a work surface comprised of a fixed body secured to the work surface and having a first inclined surface; a sliding jaw having a second inclined surface residing against and parallel to the first inclined surface, a clamp face and at least one obround opening; and at least one clamping fastener residing within the at least one obround opening and being tightened to cause the second inclined surface to slide against the first inclined surface. A workholding pivot clamp for securing a workpiece to a work surface, and a work stop for reliably locating a workpiece relative to a work surface are also described.
DEVICE FOR SHAPING AND CLAMPING RIM EXTRUDING STRIP
A device for shaping and clamping a rim extruding strip is disclosed herein. It comprises a first pressure plate, a second pressure plate, a power source having a power output shaft and a first teeth part disposed on the power output shaft, wherein the power output shaft has a first end assembled to the first pressure plate and a second end passing through the second pressure plate; an actuation rod having a second teeth part, a first end passing through the first pressure plate, and a second end assembled to the second pressure plate; and a gearing wheel disposed between the first teeth part of the power output shaft and the second teeth part of the actuation rod.
Infinitely directional translating clamp for welding a fan blade cover
A directional translating clamping device comprises a housing that includes a distal housing end and proximate housing end separated along a central axis, and a housing recess at the proximate housing end and extending along the central axis end. The device also includes a slide located in the housing recess, and the slide comprises a slide recess at a slide proximate end co-axial with the housing recess, and a detent in a radial sidewall of the slide prevents the slide from translating beyond a predetermined axial distance along the central axis. A spring is located in the housing recess and exerts an axial force on the distal end of the slide. A stub shaft extends from the distal end of the housing. A roller ball assembly includes a threaded sidewall that engages with the slide recess to removably and replaceably secure the roller ball assembly to the slide.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PREPARING A HARVESTED BLOOD VESSEL FOR GRAFTING
A system for preparing a harvested blood vessel for use as a graft during a coronary artery bypass procedure, which includes an elongated platform, a mounting flange extending upwardly from a top surface of the platform adjacent a proximal end thereof for supporting a syringe in a fixed position, and a pair of longitudinally spaced apart clamp holders operatively associated with the top surface of the platform, each clamp holder configured to support a respective vessel clamp, wherein the vessel clamps supported within the clamp holders are adapted to hold a harvested blood vessel immobile therebetween so it can be prepared for grafting.
Clamp support system
A clamp support system including a support rack having a pair of first sides and a pair of second sides that interlockingly engage each other. Slots are defined in each of the first sides and slots in the opposed and parallel first sides are aligned. One or more clamps are supported by the support rack. A bar of each clamp is received in a pair of aligned slots in the first sides. Each clamp includes a first jaw and a second jaw operatively engaged with the bar. A workpiece is positioned so that the first jaw of each clamp contacts a first side of the workpiece and the second jaw of each clamp contacts a second side. The first and second jaws are moved relative to each other to clamp the workpiece therebetween.
Cabinet assembly jig
A jig for assembling a cabinet is disclosed. The jig includes a clamp assembly pivotally attached to a base. The clamp assembly includes a first jaw and a second jaw configured to apply a clamping force therebetween. The clamp assembly can pivot between a first position and a first inclined position. In the first position, a front support plate of the clamp assembly is oriented vertically, and in the first inclined position, a first angle less than 90 degrees is formed between the front support plate and a support surface on which the base rests. The clamp assembly may also pivot to a second inclined position at which a second angle less than the first angle is formed between the front support plate and the support surface.
