Universal grip system
Provided are universal grip systems and method of using universal grip systems to test coupons. According to various examples, a universal grip system includes two grips and two guide posts for supporting the two grips and allowing the two grips to move with respect to each other. Each grip may include one or two wedges. The wedges are used to engage the coupons during testing and provide anti-buckling support and/or anti-rotation support. The wedges are slidably coupled within corresponding grips, which allows the universal grip system to engage and disengage the coupons by moving one grip with respect to another. The grips may be constructed from thermally neutral materials, such as invar 36. The grips may thermally isolated from the guide posts by, for example, a set of spacers disposed between the grips and linear bearing slidably coupled to the guide posts.

Adjustable Torque Clamping Fixture
Some embodiments of the present disclosure provide an adjustable torque clamping fixture, including a clamping body driven by a threaded rod to move and used for clamping an object. The threaded rods implements an axial movement thereof by means of screw thread transmission. An adjustable torque handle is configured at the rear end of the threaded rod. The maximum clamping force is adjusted by the adjustable torque handle. When the maximum clamping force is attained, continued application of a torque on the threaded rod by the handle results in slippage, so that no larger clamping force can be applied, thus implementing precision clamping, and preventing the clamped object from being damaged by an excessive torque. The adjustable torque clamping fixture overcomes the shortcoming of a manual clamping fixture known to inventors of which the magnitude of the clamping force is difficult to determine during use.
POSITIONING STRUCTURE OF CLAMP
A positioning structure of clamp may include a fixed clamp and a guiding rod, and the fixed clamp has a clamping portion and a connecting portion respectively at an upper portion and a lower portion thereof, and a guiding hole penetrates through the connecting portion. The guiding rod coupled into the guiding hole comprises a plurality of first through holes thereon, a first engaging hole and a second engaging hole respectively penetrating through two lateral sides of the connecting portion are respectively communicated with the guiding hole. A plurality of lock holes are formed at the lateral side of the connecting portion same as the second engaging hole. A positioning unit, connected to the connecting portion through the first engaging hole, the second engaging hole, and the lock holes, comprises a clamping block, an engaging block, a positioning bolt, a positioning block, a clamping plate and a rotating member.

Quick grip pocket hole jig system and method
A quick grip pocket hole jig system is presented having a support section having a clamp support, an end stop and a back stop. A clamping assembly is connected to the support section having a clamping rod that extends through the clamp support. A drill guide carrier having a drill guide assembly is connected to the clamping rod on a forward side of the clamp support. A clamp body having a trigger and a release mechanism is connected to the clamping rod on a rearward side of the clamp support. The clamp body is a quick grip clamp body that facilitates quick gripping of a workpiece positioned within the support section. The clamping assembly includes a return spring and a release mechanism such that when the release mechanism is actuated the drill guide carrier and the drill guide assembly are automatically moved to a non-clamping position.
