Cable clamping device of a processing machine

A cable clamping device includes a pair of grip jaws, a reset mechanism, and a handle connected to the grip jaws by the reset mechanism. The handle is pivotable about a handle pivot between a first position in which the grip jaws are in an open position and a second position in which the grip jaws are in a closed position around a cable. The reset mechanism pivots the handle from the second position to the first position before moving to a reset position of the reset mechanism that holds the handle in the first position.

The Trapdoor Clamp is the only product of its kind that allows individuals to safely place tools onto a highly adjustable platform to improve functionality of modern aerial lifts. The Trapdoor Clamp is uniquely designed with durable materials like rubber and metal to withstand force and ensure sustainability during operation. The clamp includes a channel having three sides defining open ends thereto, a trapdoor configured to create an open ended box with the three sided channel, a hinge configured to lengthwise join the trapdoor with the three sided channel, a trapdoor extension from the trapdoor, a stationary extension from the three sided channel configured to be in an opposing relation with the stationary extension and a fastener configured to put the trapdoor extension and the stationary extension in a compression.

Described herein is a retaining pin comprising a tubular outer shaft and a rotatable shaft disposed within the tubular outer shaft. The rotatable shaft is rotatably engaged with the tubular outer shaft. The rotatable shaft can comprise a locking protrusion fixed to an end of the rotatable shaft and that is operable to rotate with rotation of the rotatable shaft. An axis of the tubular outer shaft and an axis of the rotatable shaft are eccentric.

RATCHET CLAMP

The invention provides a ratchet clamp, comprising a first clamp arm, a second clamp arm and a ratchet mechanism provided between the first clamp arm and the second clamp arm. An elastic member is arranged between the ratchet mechanism and the second clamp arm. The ratchet mechanism includes a toothed bar, a pivoting member. The pivoting member includes a toothed piece, a housing and a lever. During clamping, the pivoting member pivots in whole within a certain range under the effect of the elastic member, and the toothed bar and toothed piece are engaged by undercut, maintaining the clamping force, and the elastic member protects the engagement between the toothed bar and the toothed piece from sliding apart. When opened, the interference fit between the toothed bar and the toothed piece enable the user to use small force pulling the lever to disengage the toothed piece, and also prevent accidental unloading force from opening the ratchet mechanism. The self lock state of the ratchet clamp of the invention is very safe and stable, the maximum clamping force at the jaw opening portion can reach about 50 Kg, and 85% of the maximum clamping force can be maintained after the user releases the clamp arms.

Holdown process and system for platen

A method/system of mechanical holdowns allows a substrate sheet in a CBAM (composite-based additive manufacturing technology) process to lie flat during printing. The invention includes a process of mechanically clamping sheets to be printed by a print head to a flat platen using a set of barrel cam driven clamping fingers. The finger supports are attached to the platen and the fingers can be raised and lowered with respect to the platen. Each finger can rotate while swinging downward toward a sheet at the edge of the platen. To clamp the sheet, the fingers are rotated to the perpendicular position and swung lower down to pinch the sheet to the platen. The process can include additional steps that release some, but not all, of the fingers to allow the sheet to relax before re-clamping them.
