CLAMP AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A CLAMP
A clamp, comprising a guide rail, a fixed jaw, which is arranged on the guide rail, a sliding jaw, which is displaceable on the guide rail, and at least one spindle, which is arranged displaceably on the sliding jaw and on which there is arranged or formed a pressure piece, with an actuation device, which is spaced from the at least one spindle and which actuable by an operator in order to control a displacement movement of the at least one spindle, with a force application device, which acts on the at least one spindle and by means of which a displacement movement of the at least one spindle is achievable, and with a transmission device, which connects the actuation device and the force application device.
BAR CLAMP SYSTEM
In one or more arrangements, a bar clamp system is presented. The system includes an elongated bar, an end stop assembly operably connected to and moveable along the elongated bar, and a handle assembly operably connected to and moveable along the elongated bar. The end stop assembly includes an actuator, a first locking mechanism, and a second locking mechanism. The handle assembly includes a clamp actuator, a release actuator, and a clamp mechanism operably connected to the clamp actuator and the release actuator. In one or more arrangements, the end stop assembly and handle assembly each have a clamp plate having a clamping surface. To facilitate clamping, the end stop assembly and handle assembly can be repositioned on the elongated bar with the clamping surfaces facing toward each other. To facilitate spreading, the clamping surfaces can be positioned facing away from each other.
PALLET CLAMP APPARATUS
According to various example embodiments, a pallet clamp apparatus for clamping a pallet to a pair of forks provided in a forklift includes a housing disposed adjacent to each of the pair of forks, a locking member, at least a portion of the locking member protruding to the outside of the housing to fix the pallet, a spring member configured to elastically press the locking member toward the inner side of the fork in a lateral direction, and a release member configured to release fixing of the locking member by pressing the spring member.
Clamping device with force sensing
A clamp device has first and second jaws movable relative to one another for clamping an object therebetween. A clamp sensor operatively connected to one of the jaws generates a clamping signal representative of a clamping force urging the first and second jaws towards one another. A display is arranged to display a value proportional to the clamping signal which is representative of the clamping force between the first and second jaws. A motor for driving movement of the second jaw relative to the first jaw is operated by a controller that responds to operator commands in a manual control mode and/or which automatically drives the motor so as to maintain the clamping signal measured by the clamp sensor within a prescribed threshold range to apply a constant clamping force between the first and second jaws under an automated control mode.
Bumper apparatus
A bumper apparatus for securing a vehicle bumper during painting and repair is described herein. The apparatus includes a base support structure, a frame coupled to the base support structure, at least one rear coupler arm movably coupled to the frame, at least one front coupler arm movably coupled to the frame via a front coupler attachment, and a front coupler. The front coupler attachment includes a frame portion movably coupled to the frame, a ball portion fixedly coupled to the frame portion, a socket portion configured to receive the ball portion, and an arm portion movably coupled to the at least one front coupler arm. The front coupler is movably coupled to the at least one front coupler arm and is configured to be releasably coupled to the vehicle bumper.
CLAMPING DEVICE
A clamping device has a clamping member (2) moveably mounted in a main body 1. A linearly movable actuator (3) is operatively connected to the clamping member (2). A spring element (4) is operatively connected to the actuator (3). A rotatably mounted actuating element (5) is operatively connected to the spring element (4). The spring element (4) is a compression spring that can be compressed when tensioning by the actuating element (5).
Mitre joint support
A support for a mitre joint uses two wedging mechanisms disposed at a characteristic angle. Each wedging mechanism is arranged to locate inside a hollow rail, such as within an extruded hollow beam. The wedging mechanism can be operated from outside the joint in order to clamp the mechanism in position. The mechanism has a self centering capability to assist in accurately locating the rails relative to each other.
Clamping apparatus
A clamping apparatus includes: locking members (80) insertable into a hole (11) of a workpiece (10); and a clamp rod (70) configured to make a wedge engagement with the locking members (80) from above. Each locking member (80) includes a base portion (85) configured to be inserted into the hole (11); and a protruding portion (87) located above the base portion (85). A relative movement restriction mechanism (M) configured to restrict downward movement of the clamp rod (70) relative to the locking members (80) within a predetermined travel distance allows descent of outer peripheral surfaces (85a) of the base portions (85) relative to an inner peripheral surface of the hole (11) when the locking members (80) are in a diameter-expanded position.
Clamping device
A clamping device includes first and second clamping components and at least one elastic component. The first clamping component includes a first clamping portion and two first pivot portions connected to the first clamping portion. The second clamping component includes a second clamping portion and two second pivot portions connected to the second clamping portion. The second pivot portions are pivotally connected to the first pivot portions respectively, such that the first and second clamping components are capable of rotating relative to each other to present a first state and a second state. The elastic component is connected to the first clamping component and the second clamping component. When the first and second clamping components are in the second state, the elastic component provides an elastic force for the first clamping portion and the second clamping portion to be restored to the first state to clamp an object.
