OPTICAL QUALIFIER FOR CLAMPING TOOL

This clamping tool uses optical distance verification with a laser. Clamping tools, like all tools, are known to be operated improperly. Many tools verify process completion by monitoring the pressure within the pneumatic tool. Previous qualifiers use pressure to determine many things. However, it often misses if a small object impedes a full stroke. With the addition of an optical laser sensor, we are able to determine if a clamping tool reaches full stroke.

To cut or score straight lines along sheet materials such as drywall panels, insulation boards, and timber sheets, it is commonly known to use a guide rail. Guide rail attachment means include screws, clamps, and/or adhesive pads. These securing means are time consuming to implement, and can cause damage to a main face of the sheet material. The present invention provides a guide rail securing device for releasably securing a guide rail 100 to a sheet material 200, comprising a guide rail attachment mechanism, and at least one penetrating element 20 to secure the guide rail securing device to the sheet material 200 by penetrating an edge of the sheet material 200. In this way, once the guide rail securing device is securely attached to the guide rail, a user may instantly connect the guide rail to the sheet material by penetrating an edge of the sheet material with the penetrating element.

Pliers head and pliers with good suitability

A plier head with good adaptability and a plier are provided. The plier head includes a left plier head and a right plier head, a left accessory and a right accessory matched with each other. The left accessory is detachably connected to the left plier head, the right accessory is detachably connected to the right plier head, and the right accessory and the left accessory cooperate with each other to form at least one cavity. At least two use states include a first state and a second state. When the plier head is in the first state or the second state, a position of the at least one cavity can be changed.

Locking wrench pliers

Embodiments of the current invention relate to a pliers wrench. Optionally, the jaws of the pair of pliers lock to an adjustable gap size and/or the gap between the jaws is aligned with a rotational axis of the pair of pliers. For example, there may be two jaws that adjust symmetrically around the rotational axis. In some embodiments, each jaw is closed toward an opposing jaw by a lever. Optionally, a locking mechanism locks the jaw when it reaches half the gap width from the rotational axis. Optionally, each jaw is closable independently of the other jaw. Optionally, a notch in the jaws forms an angle for clasping a bolt perpendicular to an axis of the device. For example, the notch may have a 120 angle.

Holding clamp for high fabric load applications

The present invention is generally directed towards clamps for high tension load applications. In particular, the invention relates to high holding power clamps in which fabric can be secured, and which can withstand a large amount of force, including, in at least some embodiments, the maximum amount of tension permitted in various modern high strength fabrics and/or fiber weaves. In at least one embodiment, a holding clamp has a single-V design, with at least three areas that exert pinching effects on fabric held in the clamp, and at least four capstan areas that exert capstan effects on the clamped fabric. In at least a further embodiment, a holding clamp has a double-V design, with at least six areas that exert pinching effects on fabric held in the clamp, and at least seven capstan areas that exert capstan effects on the clamped fabric.

RESTRAINT AND STOWAGE DEVICE AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF

Embodiments relate to a restraint and stowage device comprising a fixed jaw and a movable jaw, wherein the fixed jaw is attached to an elongated rod. The elongated rod may be receivable through an aperture of the movable jaw. The movable jaw is positioned along the elongated rod such that an object may be securely restrained between the movable jaw, the fixed jaw, and the elongated rod. The position of the movable jaw may be fixed by an end piece.

Filtration clamp with optional alignment collar and filtration system

A clamp including a first jaw member having a camming surface, a second jaw member pivotable with respect to the first jaw member, a first biasing member biasing the first and second jaw members to a first position; and a locking mechanism that includes a cam or roller for cooperating with the camming surface of the jaw member, and a second biasing member biasing the cam or roller against the camming surface to lock the first and second jaw members in a second position. An optional alignment collar can be used to align components of the filtration apparatus prior to clamping. Filtration apparatus including the clamp, and also optionally including the alignment collar, is also disclosed.

Clamp designs and methods relating thereto for working on one or more of workpieces are described. An exemplar clamp design includes a unitary u-shaped frame having a bight portion flanked by multiple jaw portions, all of which are designed to secure one or more workpieces (e.g., cabinet face frame). The u-shaped frame, at any of its portions, has disposed thereon at least one work window that provides access to one or more secured workpieces. Further, one exemplar clamp design provides a work guide element rotatably coupled to the u-shaped frame, disposed adjacent to the work window, and having defined therein a guide aperture. In, one rotated, work position of the work guide, the guide aperture allows a tool to access and/or work, through the guide aperture and the work window, on a desired location on the workpiece.
