OPENING-CLOSING DEVICE
The present invention provides an opening-closing device including a first component, a second component and a third component. The second component is rotatably connected with the first component, and the third component is rotatably connected with the second component. The present invention further includes a mode switching device for switching operating modes of the opening-closing device. The operating modes include a conventional mode and a labor-saving mode. When the opening-closing device is in the conventional mode, the third component is fixed relative to the second component. When the opening-closing device is in the labor-saving mode, the third component is rotated in the opening direction relative to the second component during opening of the opening-closing device, and the third component is rotated in the closing direction relative to the second component during closing of the opening-closing device.
OPEN-CLOSE HANDHELD APPARATUS AND METHOD OF ADJUSTMENT OF ANGLE BETWEEN HANDHELD PORTIONS THEREOF
The present invention relates to an open-close handheld apparatus and a method of adjustment of the angle between the handheld portions thereof. The open-close handheld apparatus includes a first member and a second member. The first member includes a first clamping portion and a first handheld portion. The second member includes a second clamping portion and a second handheld portion. The first clamping portion and the second clamping portion are rotatably and movably connected via a first axle pin. The first clamping portion and the second clamping portion open and close relative to each other, the plane in which the open-close path thereof is located is an open-close plane. The first handheld portion is rotatably connected to the first clamping portion. The plane in which the rotation path of the first handheld portion is located is the same as or parallel to the open-close plane. A locking arrangement is provided at the joint between the first handheld portion and the first clamping portion, used for locking or unlocking the first handheld portion and the first clamping portion.
PLIERS WITH MULTIPLE BITE ADJUSTMENT OPTIONS
A hand tool includes a handle assembly, a jaw assembly, and an adjustment assembly. The handle assembly may include a top handle and a bottom handle. The jaw assembly may include a top jaw and a bottom jaw. The top and bottom jaws may be operably coupled to the top and bottom handles to compress the top and bottom jaws toward each other responsive to compression of the top and bottom handles toward each other. The adjustment assembly may be configured to enable a grip size defined by the jaw assembly to be modified and includes a first adjuster disposed at a distal end of the top handle, a second adjuster disposed at a point between a middle portion and proximal end of the top handle, and an adjustment rod operably coupled to each of the first and second adjusters.

Tool with mechanism for wear adjustment
An adjustment mechanism for a tool includes a first shroud pivotally attached to a first jaw of the tool and having a trough-shaped first body with a first gap and a first side section with a first aperture. A second shroud is pivotally attached to a second jaw and has a trough-shaped second body with a second gap and a second side section. An arm is pivotally attached to the first and second shrouds, disposed in the first and second gaps, and has a slot aligned with the first aperture and communicating with both a periphery and a pin mount of the arm. Rotatably mounted in the pin mount is a pin with a threaded aperture aligned with the slot. An adjustment screw passes through the first aperture and the slot and engages the threaded aperture. The screw head has a distal bearing surface restrained by the first side section.
