Alignment and adjustment clamp
The present invention comprises an improved clamp for securing two members together. The invention includes a pair of damp jaws that may be positioned in spaced relation to each another and adjusted in three dimensions from one vantage point or position of the user.
METHODS OF TREATING AND PREVENTING DISEASE BY CLAMPING OF SKIN
The invention provides methods of treating diseases, such as various cancers, neoplasms, autoimmune diseases, and infectious diseases, among others, by clamping the skin of a subject in need of treatment so as to apply a compressive force that is sufficient to cause damage, often manifested in pain or bruising, to the underlying tissue. The invention additionally provides kits containing clamps capable of regulating the distance between the arms of the clamp such that a user of the clamp will apply a safe amount of pressure to the skin of a subject that is sufficient to cause tissue bruising and/or pain.
TOOL WITH MECHANISM FOR WEAR ADJUSTMENT
An adjustment mechanism for a tool includes a first shroud pivotally attached to a first jaw of the tool and having a trough-shaped first body with a first gap and a first side section with a first aperture. A second shroud is pivotally attached to a second jaw and has a trough-shaped second body with a second gap and a second side section. An arm is pivotally attached to the first and second shrouds, disposed in the first and second gaps, and has a slot aligned with the first aperture and communicating with both a periphery and a pin mount of the arm. Rotatably mounted in the pin mount is a pin with a threaded aperture aligned with the slot. An adjustment screw passes through the first aperture and the slot and engages the threaded aperture. The screw head has a distal bearing surface restrained by the first side section.

Load induced mechanism system
A mechanism system can include a load responsive component, a pivot point coupled to the load responsive component, and a mechanism, coupled to the load responsive component, configured to engage when the load responsive component moves and configured to induce a first ratio of movement and a second ratio of movement.

GRIPPING TOOL
Provided is a nipping tool with which it is possible to nip an object, such as a cable, appropriately in accordance with the thickness or size of the object. This nipping tool is a nipping tool in which two members, each including a grip part and an operation part, are rotatably connected, and the operation parts open and close in association with the opening/closing of the grip parts. The grip part has a plurality of holding positions. The shape of the grip part is such that the degree of opening of the operation parts differs when the two members are closed together using the various holding positions.
