Insulated multi-tool
An insulated multi-tool comprising a pair of opposing jaws, a pair of opposed handles operatively connected to the jaws relative to a pivot to force the jaws into a clamping position about an object, at least one of the opposed handles having a tool-receiving pocket, at least one tool stored in the tool receiving pocket, the at least one tool pivotally attached relative to the tool receiving pocket for movement between a stored position in which the at least one tool is stored within the tool receiving pocket and an open, use position in which the at least one tool is located relative to at least one of the opposed handles for use, and wherein the a pair of opposed handles are electrically insulated from both the pair of opposing jaws and each at least one tool.
TOOL HAVING MATING PLIER JAW PAIRS
A tool is provided in order to facilitate utilization by users in a wide variety of applications. By way of example, a multipurpose tool includes a first handle having a first axle and a second handle having a second axle; a first jaw and a second jaw, defining a stowed position and a deployed position, where in the stowed position the first jaw is received within the second handle and the second jaw is received within the first handle; a third jaw and a fourth jaw, defining a stowed position and a deployed position, where in the stowed position the third jaw is received within the second handle and the fourth jaw is received within the first handle, where the first jaw and fourth jaw are pivotably attached at the second axle, the second jaw and third jaw are pivotably attached at the first axle.
Pliers
Pliers include a first and a second plier limb which are rotatably held relative to one another about an axis of rotation in an articulation region and which form handle regions on one side of the articulation region and a jaw of the pliers on the other side, the plier limbs being designed to cut a threaded bolt in an overlap region, using first and second cavities that can be superposed in alignment. A thread is formed in each first cavity in order to cut a threaded bolt. The thread is provided over only part of the height of the first cavity and over only part of the inner circumference of the first cavity.
