System and method for forming an assembly
A method for forming an assembly of a plurality of components. The method includes receiving, by a controller, one or more assembly identification parameters and controlling, by the controller, a light array disposed along an assembly jig based on the one or more assembly identification parameters.
Positioning Tool for Use with Front-End Modules of Vehicles
A positioning tool is disclosed that is configured for use with a front-end module (FEM) of a vehicle to align the FEM with a hood of the vehicle. The positioning tool includes: a body; a receiving member that is connected to the body and configured for engagement with the hood of the vehicle; and at least one engagement member that is supported by the body. The at least one engagement member is configured to interface with the FEM such that movement of the positioning tool causes corresponding movement of the FEM, whereby the FEM is aligned relative to the hood of the vehicle upon closure of the hood of the vehicle.
SUPPORT JIG FOR VIBRATIONPROOF MATERIAL AND ASSEMBLING DEVICE FOR VIBRATIONPROOF DEVICE
A support jig is configured to be capable of supporting a first vibrationproof material including a first outer cylinder and a second vibrationproof material including a second outer cylinder, the support jig including a jig main body that accommodates lower portions of the first and second vibrationproof materials, and an adapter configured to be selectively attachable onto an upper portion of the jig main body. The jig main body includes, at an upper end portion, a main body counterbore portion for supporting the first vibrationproof material from below while horizontally positioning the first vibrationproof material at the first outer cylinder, in a state where no adapter is attached. The adapter includes, at an upper end portion, an adapter counterbore portion for supporting the second vibrationproof material from below while horizontally positioning the second vibrationproof material at the second outer cylinder, in a state where the adapter is attached.

Detachable workpiece support
A connector includes a first connector body with an attachment hole and a second connector body provided with a shaft portion. A keyway is formed in a sidewall of the shaft portion. Moreover, the first connector body includes a pivoting member pivoting by being pressed by the shaft portion rotating inside the attachment hole and an elastic member for returning the pivoting member that has pivoted to an original position. The pivoting member is provided with an engaging portion engaging with the keyway.
BATTERY PACK COMPRISING BATTERY PACK FRAME CAPABLE OF PREVENTING WELDING DEFECT AND PRESSING JIG FOR PREPARING THE SAME
A battery pack is provided including a battery module having a plurality of battery cells or a unit module having the plurality of battery cells; a battery pack frame body including a base plate on which the battery module or the unit module is mounted, and a first side plate and a second side plate connected to the base plate and disposed to face each other; a top frame coupled to an upper portion of the battery pack frame body; and a first end plate and a second end plate electrically connected to electrode terminals of the battery module or the unit module, wherein at least one of the first end plate and the second end plate is configured to include slits.
Cabinet assembly jig
A jig for assembling a cabinet is disclosed. The jig includes a clamp assembly pivotally attached to a base. The clamp assembly includes a first jaw and a second jaw configured to apply a clamping force therebetween. The clamp assembly can pivot between a first position and a first inclined position. In the first position, a front support plate of the clamp assembly is oriented vertically, and in the first inclined position, a first angle less than 90 degrees is formed between the front support plate and a support surface on which the base rests. The clamp assembly may also pivot to a second inclined position at which a second angle less than the first angle is formed between the front support plate and the support surface.

OMNI-POSITIONAL ADHESION DEVICE
Aspects are provided for retaining components of an assembly to a support, including additively manufactured (AM) parts of a vehicle chassis to an assembly table. A cartridge for securing the component to the assembly table is provided which includes a housing including at least one compartment, an adhesive disposed within the at least one compartment, a fastener removably attached to the assembly table, and a membrane lid enclosing an opening of the housing. The membrane lid is configured to receive a protruding member from the component such that the protruding member becomes adhered to the adhesive upon penetrating the membrane lid. The cartridge thus allows the component to be quickly retained in any selected position while constraining movement of the component along six degrees of freedom, thereby allowing AM and non-AM parts to be securely retained to accommodate strict tolerance and precise fit between the components of the assembly.
HINGE ASSEMBLY FOR AN APPLIANCE LID AND INSTALLATION METHOD THEREFOR
A laundry appliance includes a cabinet having a top panel that defines an aperture for selectively accessing a treatment chamber defined within the cabinet. A lid is rotationally operable relative to the aperture of the top panel between open and closed positions. Hinge assemblies extend between the lid and the top panel. The hinge assemblies include a first hinge assembly. A second hinge assembly is selectively retractable into the lid to a retracted position. A biasing member biases the second hinge assembly out to an extended position. At least the second hinge assembly is operable to the retracted position to bypass a portion of the top panel to define an installed position where the first and second hinge assemblies are engaged with respective hinge receptacles of the top panel.
