Biodegradable Edible Stirrers
Various embodiment of a biodegradable elongated formatted implement for blending beverages and integrating flavors. The implement is made of a compacted edible substance and degradable substance that will dissolve upon liquid contact. The implement has the means to flavor or cool beverages. The implement degradable and dissolvable features decreases environmental waste derived from indissoluble stirrers.
Portable Food Handling Devices
A food handling device includes a holder having an interior chamber extending along a longitudinal axis, and an extension housing detachably mounted on the holder and having an interior compartment for receiving and for holding the foodstuff. A pusher is mounted in the chamber for axial movement. An actuator axially moves the pusher through the chamber and through the compartment into contact with the foodstuff, and incrementally feeds a continuously variable quantity of the foodstuff along the longitudinal axis through the opening directly into a user's mouth to enable the foodstuff to be eaten bite-by-bite in a sanitary manner without using eating accessories, such as plates and/or utensils, and without the user's hands directly touching and contaminating the foodstuff, thereby preventing the spread of disease.
CUP
A cup, including a container, including an elongated cell disposed vertically within a rim of the container; and a spoon, disposed within the elongated cell.
Food Container Assembly
Embodiments relate to a food container assembly having a removable internal dispensing bag or enclosure. Food product(s) such as baby food, liquids or other product(s) or material can be loaded and/or stored in the internal enclosure, which is then enclosed within an external protective enclosure, with an opening for access to product(s) stored in the internal enclosure. Straws, spoons, or other utensils can be used. The external enclosure can include snap fits or other connections to enclose the external enclosure around the internal enclosure, so that the internal enclosure can be accessed and removed for washing, reloading of food, or other handling. The external enclosure or other bag or enclosure can include a pocket for an ice pack or insulation. The external enclosure can protect against mold, fungus, or other spoilage or contamination, and can be used repeatedly to enclose bags storing various food products.
SEALED PACKAGE CONTAINING A SQUEEZABLE PRODUCT
There is provided a pack for a product (12) to facilitate the dispensing of a liquid or particulate matter emanating from the product via a first openable portion (17). The pack comprises two films (13, 14) sealed together about a periphery to define a volume in which the product (12) is contained. The films at the openable portion (17) can be peeled apart in order to create an opening, but the size of the opening is limited by the provision of stronger connections (52) on either side of the openable portion.
SEALED PACKAGE COMPRISING A SQUEEZABLE PRODUCT
There is provided a pack (10) for a product (12) comprising a piece of fruit having a rind and a flesh portion containing a liquid in the form of juice. The product (12) is sealingly retained in a volume defined between two films (13, 14) which are sealingly connected around their periphery. The pack (10) has a first openable portion (16) from which the liquid/juice can be dispensed. The fruit product has one or more cuts (47) in its rind to facilitate the manipulation of the fruit to improve juice extraction.
STIRRER COMPRISING A SEALED PACKAGE WHICH HOLDS THEREIN A LIQUID
There is provided a pack (10) in the form of a stirrer for a hot or cold beverage. The stirrer comprises first and second films (13, 14) sealingly connected around a periphery to enclose a volume in which is disposed a liquid. The liquid is conveniently disposed in an elongate channel (15) formed in one of the films. Openable portions (17, 55) are provided at respective ends of the stirrer, one openable portion (17) allowing the liquid to flow out once opened and the other openable portion (55) acting as a vent. Each openable portion is opened by peeling apart the two films and has a stronger connection (52, 57) provided to limit the opening of the ends.
Fluidic utensils
Eating utensils, namely forks which have the function of liquid dispensing fluid, via fluidic passages inside of the utensils which attach to a container of a liquid affixed at a point within a cage part of the handle of the utensil. The attachment coupled with the action of the user of the utensil actuates the flow of the liquid from the container to a point on or near the eating surface of the utensil.
AN INGREDIENT DISPENSER
An ingredient dispenser for dispensing ingredient into a liquid. The ingredient dispenser may be embodied for dispensing ingredient into a liquid including water, for example it may be embodied as an ingredient dispenser for dispensing ingredient into tea, coffee, soups or other such beverages or foodstuffs. The ingredient dispenser comprises an elongate main body comprising an ingredient dispensing portion at a distal end of the elongate main body, wherein the ingredient dispensing portion is configured to release ingredient from the ingredient dispenser, and a stirrer portion at a proximal end of the elongate main body, wherein the stirrer portion is configured to enable a liquid to be stirred by the stirrer portion, and wherein the main body is configured to disintegrate or dissolve upon contact with a liquid including water.
Dual-purpose dispensing container and utensil
Disclosed are dual-purpose dispensing containers and utensils for dispensing measured amounts of beverage or food ingredients, useful for the preparation and consumption of the beverages and foods. A dual-purpose dispensing container and utensil comprises a handle having a functional part at first end thereof, the functional part configured for preparing and/or consuming a beverage or foodstuff, at least two compartments extending from a lower surface of the handle and along a longitudinal length of the handle from a second end of the handle opposite the first end. Each two neighbor compartments are spaced apart a pre-selected distance from each other. A cover is attached to the handle along a perimeter of a top opening of each one of the compartments on an upper surface of the handle. Each compartment is configured to contain ingredient for dispensing into a liquid beverage or solid foodstuff for preparing the liquid beverage or solid foodstuff.
