OPEN-ENDED WRENCH WITH POLYMER ADAPTOR
An open-ended head includes a first head jaw, a second head jaw and a head channel. The first head jaw extends widthwise between a first jaw flat and a first head edge surface. The second head jaw extends widthwise between a second jaw flat and a second head edge surface. The head channel projects lengthwise into the open-ended head. The head channel extends widthwise within the open-ended head between the first jaw flat and the second jaw flat. The open-ended head is configured from or includes a metal material. An adaptor is mated with the open-ended head. The adaptor is wrapped around the first head jaw and covers the first jaw flat and the first head edge surface. The adaptor is wrapped around the second head jaw and covers the second jaw flat and the second head edge surface. The adaptor is configured from or includes a polymer material.
EXTENSION ELEMENT FOR IMPROVED USE OF AN ADJUSTABLE WRENCH
This disclosure is related to an adjustable wrench for engaging work objects. The adjustable wrench has a handle having a handle end and a flat serrated jaw surface. The adjustable wrench also has an L-shaped movable jaw having a lever arm and a serrated jaw, the lever arm having a terminal end and an extension element extending from the terminal end having an opening therethrough. The adjustable wrench further comprises a projection extending from the handle having a tunnel therein for accepting the lever arm of the L-shaped movable jaw and a grip enhancing apparatus.
Extension Element for Improved Use of An Adjustable Wrench
This disclosure is related to an adjustable wrench for engaging work objects. The adjustable wrench has a handle having a handle end and a flat serrated jaw surface. The adjustable wrench also has an L-shaped movable jaw having a lever arm and a serrated jaw, the lever arm having a terminal end and an extension element extending from the terminal end having an opening therethrough. Open ended socket wrench
A head of an open ended ratchet features outer face plates with voids that delimit a jaw space that is open at one end. Two gripping pieces face toward one another from opposing sides of the jaw space. A working side of each gripping piece features two working faces that lie at an oblique angle to one another to define an inner corner that fits over a respective outer corner of a fastener. The gripping pieces are displaceable along the plates into working positions reaching further into the jaw space. A force member is slidable along the plates to force the gripping pieces into the working position, in which the working faces frictionally engage peripheral faces of the fastener. A handle coupled to the head is pivotally movable in opposing directions to push and release the force member, thereby controlling engagement and release of the gripping pieces with the fastener.
Open ended socket wrench

The socket insert adapter defined by an outer configuration that includes a plurality of outer flat walls having a shape and size to conform to and to fit into a cavity of a socket driver body of the socket driver, the outer configuration defining a plurality of outer flat walls and further defining one or more rounded outer corners. The socket insert adapter further defined by an inner configuration having one or more inner flat walls and one or more rounded inner corners. The hollow shaped socket insert adapter may include a rim on one end that enhances structural integrity, inhibits disengagement with a socket driver, and facilitates manipulation of the socket insert adapter.

Various embodiments of a faucet wrench are provided. The faucet wrench includes a first insert that includes multiple inner jaw surfaces. The multiple inner jaw surfaces are each configured to engage workpieces of different sizes. In specific embodiments, the first insert includes a plurality of stackable components, each with multiple inner jaw surfaces. The plurality of stackable components can be interchanged and/or reoriented by a user to allow the user to select a preferred inner jaw surface to be used for a given task. In further specific embodiments, the first insert includes a pivotable wedge that allows the faucet wrench to be used in different orientations. In specific embodiments, the faucet wrench also has a second insert that includes multiple work surfaces for engaging an additional variety of workpieces.

Various embodiments of a faucet wrench are provided. The faucet wrench includes a first insert that includes multiple inner jaw surfaces. The multiple inner jaw surfaces are each configured to engage workpieces of different sizes. In specific embodiments, the first insert includes a plurality of stackable components, each with multiple inner jaw surfaces. The plurality of stackable components can be interchanged and/or reoriented by a user to allow the user to select a preferred inner jaw surface to be used for a given task.
