A bit assembly includes a bit for driving a screw, a shank for holding and driving the bit to rotate about a pivot axis wherein the bit is capable of moving relative to the shank in a predetermined range, and a limiting structure formed between the bit and the shank for preventing the bit to move beyond the predetermined range. The bit and the shank are made of different materials and form a sliding connection so that they have a certain buffer space in the axial direction and in the circumferential direction thereby reducing the effect of impacts on the service life of the bit assembly.

MULTIPURPOSE MODULAR BIT ASSEMBLY

A multi-purpose bit assembly is shown and described herein. The tool assembly may comprise one or more body members. A body member may comprise a magnet, a main body and a bit. The main body may comprise various sides, one or more of which may include one or more apertures on its surface and one or more bits protruding therefrom. The bit may include a bit body and a bit head. The body members may include differently configured bits. Bits may be inserted into the apertures to connect the body members. The bit assembly may comprise one or more attachment members. An attachment member may attach two or more bits together.

Tool for use in dental implant treatments and retention element

A tool for use in dental implants. The tool includes a retention element held in the tool shaft via a friction fit. The retention element is adapted to grip a variety of impact drivers via a frictional fit for use in tightening procedures of a dental procedure. The tool also includes a variety of features for interaction with additional dental instruments, or that aid in cleaning and sanitization of the tool.

Method for making a bit

A method for making a bit includes a step of preparing a bar of pre-set length, the bar having two lateral portions on two opposite sides thereof, and two engaging faces formed on each of the top and the bottom of the bar, the engaging faces being in contact with at least two face insides of a hexagonal hole of an accommodation tool, a distance X1 defined between the two engaging faces, a distance Y1 defined between the two lateral portions 11, X11.2 Y1; a step of forming each of two ends of the bar into a function end, a connection portion being formed between the two function ends, and a step of obtaining the bit. The bit is compact and light weight.

TOOL BIT ASSEMBLY INCLUDING A MAGNETISM BOOSTER

A tool bit assembly includes a tool bit having a drive portion defining a first end of the tool bit and configured to be coupled to a tool, and a tip defining a second end of the tool bit and configured to engage a workpiece. The tool bit assembly also includes a magnetism booster having a base collar mounted to the tip of the tool bit, an outer sleeve movably received on the base collar and including a forward end, a rearward end, and a flange extending radially inward at the rearward end, a magnet positioned at the forward end of the outer sleeve, and a spring positioned between the base collar and the flange of the outer sleeve to bias the flange away from the base collar.

Fastener Extractor Device

A fastener extractor tool is an apparatus that is used to remove a seized or damaged fastener. The apparatus may include at least one shank body and at least one torque-tool body. The at least one shank body allows the apparatus to be attached to an external torque tool. The torque-tool body engages the seized fastener to apply torque to dislodge said seized fastener. The at least one torque-tool body may include a plurality of laterally-bracing sidewalls and at least one engagement feature. The plurality of laterally-bracing sidewalls engage with the seized fastener to efficiently transfer torque from the external torque tool to the seized fastener. The at least one engagement feature is an engagement cavity that forms at least one engagement tooth on the at least one torque-tool body. The at least one engagement tooth engages the seized fastener to ensure torque is transferred to the seized fastener.

DRIVE CONFIGURAITON

A drive configuration is formed on a fastening assembly which includes two working units. The drive configuration includes a plurality of operating regions and a plurality of driving regions. An engagement region is formed between every two adjacent operating regions. A fitting region is formed between every two adjacent driving regions. Either the surface of the engagement region or the surface of the fitting region forms a three-section arc structure which includes three arc walls. When two arc walls of the three-section arc structure of one working unit come into contact with a single arc wall of the other working unit, two engagement points are formed when each engagement region engages with each fitting region, thereby attaining a stable engagement, applying torque efficiently, and allowing a one-handed operating mode for ease of using the fastening assembly.
