The output assembly includes an anvil having a cylindrical body portion, an output member configured to engage a socket, and a curvilinear transition portion that tapers between the body portion and the output member. The transition portion defines a radius in a plane containing a rotational axis of the anvil that is greater than 1.5 mm. The output assembly also includes a pawl that is moveable between a first position in which the pawl is operatively coupled to drive the anvil in a first direction and a second position in which the pawl is operatively coupled to drive the anvil in a second direction opposite the first direction.
Tightening device for tightening pipe connection
A tightening device for tightening a pipe connection, the tightening device comprising a frame (2), a reciprocating member (4) adapted to reciprocate between a first position and a second position relative to the frame (2) by pivoting about a first axis of rotation (101), a socket member (6) adapted for rotating a connector nut (52) of a pipe connection, the socket member (6) having an open side for enabling accessing a rotation axis of the socket member (6) from a radial direction, and a drive coupling between the reciprocating member (4) and the socket member (6). During use of the tightening device a reciprocating motion of the reciprocating member (4) between the first position and the second position provides unidirectional rotation of the socket member (6) in the first direction of rotation.
Nut torquing device for recessed nut
A nut torqueing device for a recessed nut is disclosed. The nut torqueing device includes a nut engaging assembly to engage a nut in a recess. The nut engaging assembly includes: a nut engaging element to engage the nut in the recess, at least one stackable riser element to stackably connect to one of the nut engaging element and an adjacent stackable riser element therebelow, and a transmission engaging element to stackably connect to an uppermost one of the at least one stackable riser element. A ratchet interface within the nut engaging assembly allows rotation of the nut engaging element in only one direction, while other stackable elements rotationally interlock. A low profile transmission extends within a small space to transmit rotational power to the nut engaging assembly. The nut torqueing device is applicable with a terminal nut of an electric generator.
Power-driven direct drive ratchet/wrench tool
A power driven direct drive ratchet/wrench tool allows a user to tighten and loosen fasteners in tight spaces efficiently and effectively. The tool includes a tool housing, a engagement body, a spur gear, a drive shaft, and a plurality of drive pins. The tool housing acts as the structural element and includes a ratchet head, a tubular handle, and a gear-receiving cavity. The ratchet head is terminally connected to the tubular handle. The gear-receiving cavity laterally traverses into the ratchet head and houses the spur gear and the engagement body. The drive shaft is rotatably mounted within the tubular handle. The plurality of drive pins is connected to a proximal base of the drive shaft, about a rotation axis of the drive shaft. In order to transmit torque, an at least one arbitrary pin from the plurality of drive pins is mechanically engaged to the spur gear.
Electric socket ratchet wrench and method of using the same
An electric socket ratchet wrench includes a body, a driving device rotatably mounted in the body, a pawl device coupled with the driving device, a power device providing a torque, a transmission device between the driving device and the power device, and a clutch device. The driving device includes a driving member having a non-circular hole for coupling with a fastener. The driving member includes an annular toothed portion coupled with the pawl device and an end toothed portion coupled with the transmission device. When a resistance smaller than the torque is encountered while the driving member is driving the fastener, the driving member continuously drives the fastener. When a large resistance larger than the torque is encountered at a position, the body is manually rotatable by a torque larger than the large resistance to forcibly drive the fastener through the position via the driving member.
POWER TOOL
A power tool comprises an input member, an output member and an actuating member, ratchet teeth being provided on an inner circumference of the input member, a pawl being disposed on an outer circumference of the output member, the actuating member capable of abutting against different portions of the pawl to respectively cause the pawl to be positioned in a first position and a second position relative to the input member, wherein the actuating member is offset from a central axis of the input member.
Pneumatic tool
A pneumatic tool includes a main body unit, a control valve unit, a switch unit and a trigger unit. The main body unit has a flow path for guiding inflow of air. The control valve unit removably blocks the flow path. The switch unit includes a sleeve member movable between an open position where the control valve unit is driven to unblock the flow path, and a block position where the control valve unit is driven to block the flow path. The trigger unit includes a trigger member operable to move the sleeve member between the open position and the block position.
PROTECTION METHOD FOR ELECTRIC WRENCH MOTOR AND ELECTRIC WRENCH THEREOF
An electric wrench, which is operated in an electric mode and a manual mode, includes a wrench body having a head portion having a ratchet device and a handle portion; a motor disposed in the handle portion; a current sensor connected with the motor for detecting an operation current value of the motor; a controller connected with the current sensor, the controller having a setting unit and a comparing unit, the setting unit setting a threshold current value, the comparing unit comparing the operation current value and the threshold current value; a switch activating and deactivating an operation of the motor; and a warning device connected with the controller. In the electric mode, when the operation current value is greater than the threshold current value, the warning device is triggered for user to switch to the manual mode.
Electric rapid ratchet wrench and method of using the same
An electric rapid ratchet wrench includes a driving device mounted in a body to which a power device is mounted. A transmission device is mounted between the driving device and the power device and is rotatably mounted to the body. The transmission device transmits a torque from the power device to drive the driving device. A clutch device is mounted between the driving device and the power device. The clutch device includes a driven member and a driver member movable in a radial direction perpendicular to a rotating axis to disengageably engage with the driven member. When a large resistance larger than the torque of the power device is encountered at a position while the driving device is driving a fastener, the driver member repeatedly engages with and disengages from the driven member. The body is manually rotatable to forcibly drive the fastener through the position via the driving device.
