Threaded member tightening tool and drive time setting method for threaded member tightening tool
A threaded member tightening tool for setting the length of drive time to elapse before rotation is switched from high-speed rotation to low-speed rotation. A motor-driven screwdriver system in which a screwdriver bit is first driven at a predetermined high rotational speed only for a high-speed drive time and thereafter driven at a predetermined low rotational speed lower than the high rotational speed. A control unit drive-controls an electric motor so that the screwdriver bit is rotationally driven at a setting rotational speed, measures a tightening time required until a Hall element detects that a threaded member engaged with the screwdriver bit has been tightened completely, calculates an initial setting time by multiplying the tightening time by a predetermined positive value less than 1 and a value obtained by dividing the setting rotational speed by the high rotational speed, and sets the high-speed drive time to the initial setting time.
SPEED SWITCHING STRUCTURE FOR AN ELECTRIC AND PNEUMATIC TOOL
A speed switching structure for an electric and pneumatic tool has a head portion disposed at a front end of the electric and pneumatic tool. The head portion is jacketed with a control ring and a sliding sleeve, and the control ring is connected to a gear ring of a shifting assembly disposed in the head portion. The shifting assembly has a first epicyclic frame mounted in the gear ring and a second epicyclic frame and a securing gear ring mounted in the head portion and behind the gear ring, and the first epicyclic frame is coupled with a central shaft extending from a front end of the head portion.

A power tool communication system including an external device including a first controller configured to transmit, via wireless communication to a power tool, configuration data including a work light duration parameter value and a work light brightness parameter value. The power tool includes a housing, a brushless direct current (DC) motor, a trigger, a work light, a wireless communication circuit configured to wirelessly communicate with the external device to receive the configuration data, and a second controller configured to control a work light duration of the work light based on the work light duration parameter value, and control a work light brightness of the work light based on the work light brightness parameter value.
PRESSING AND DRIVING MECHANISM AND ELECTRIC SCREWDRIVER CONTAINING THE SAME
A pressing and driving mechanism, adapted for use in an electric screwdriver, includes a housing, an output member connected to the housing and movable relative to the housing with user intervention, a first adjustment member connected to the output member and moving along with the latter, and a second adjustment member fixed relative to the housing. The second adjustment member is adapted to be in mechanical contact with the first adjustment member. The first adjustment member moves relative to the second adjustment member when the output member moves relative to the housing, whereby the pressing and driving mechanism actively or passively outputs a continuously changing signal. The present invention can realize the function of automatically changing the output torque/speed with the pressing depth when the electric screwdriver is pressed by the user toward the wall or other workpiece.

An adapter for a power tool including a housing, a tool-side connector, and a battery-side connector in electrical communication with each other. The tool-side connector is configured to couple to a power tool, and the battery-side connector is configured to couple to a battery pack. The adapter also includes a communication interface configured to couple with an external device, and a controller. The controller is configured to determine a state of the power tool, operate in a data transmission mode when the power tool is in the idle state, operate in a pass-through mode when the power tool is in the active state, and switch between the data transmission mode and the pass-through mode based on the state of the power tool.

A power tool comprises a housing and an electric motor disposed in the housing. A rotary output is driven by the motor. Electronic sensor configured to sense operating parameters of the power tool includes a voltage sensor arranged to detect the voltage across the electric motor, a current sensor arranged to detect the current through the tool, and a speed sensor arranged to detect the angular velocity of the output spindle. Electronic control apparatus is configured to determine from the operating parameter output signals the torque M of the rotary output and control the angular velocity of the rotary output in response to the calculation of the torque of said rotary output.

A rotary tool includes a motor having an axis of rotation extending in a forward-rearward direction of the rotary tool. A grip part is located below the axis of rotation in an up-down direction that is perpendicular to the forward-rearward direction. A planet gear is configured to be driven by the motor. An internal gear meshes with the planet gear and is movable in the forward-rearward direction to change a speed. A sun gear meshes with the planet gear, and an output shaft is configured to be rotationally driven by the sun gear. A sensor is configured to detect the forward-rearward movement of the internal gear, the sensor being disposed downward of the sun gear in the up-down direction.
